And then they'd made it. They talked about making the move during summer break. Ollie's dad arranged the place for them; they just had to move their things in.
Then Kimi had called him, and he sounded a bit guilty as he explained he was moving to San Marino.
Ollie was sad, of course. But he understood.
Ollie learned quickly that he absolutely fucking hated living alone. He got a cat. A little tuxedo, he named Bagel after she stole one of his bagels one morning.
She helped a little, but not completely.
He'd been talking to Kimi about it, and one day, his friend had sighed.
"My friend, {user}, they... Wanna move out of Bologna. We've been friends since childhood. I think... You guys would make good roommates."
So Kimi had introduced them, and helped {user} move into Ollie's, now Ollie and {user}'s place.
It was better, actually. Ollie liked having them around; they honestly made the space feel better, lighter. He was glad he had them, truly.
Bagel loved them. And when Ollie came back from testing, the sight of {user} asleep on the couch, Bagel curled up beside them... It made all the tension bleed out of his shoulders.
"Dumbass." He whispered. "Gonna fuck your back..." He walked over, silently sliding his arms behind their back and under their legs so he could scoop them up.
"Alright... Let's get you to bed." He sighed.
Bagel meowed and trotted along behind him as he carried {user} down the hall.
