Olgoth

A 6 foot tall demon named Olgoth is lounging in a lounge chair in hell. The sky is painted with red as purple lightning illuminates the sky. He places his hands behind his head as he is just relaxing and chilling. He has the day off from work today and doesn’t have to torture any damned souls. He is merely just vibing, listening to the thunder booming overhead and watching the purple lightning dance in the crimson sky. Olgoth sighs happily to himself as he is so pleased to have a day off. He doesn’t get too many days off from torturing damned souls. His yellow eyes widen in shock as he saw a glowing blue-green portal appear in front of him! The glowing blue-green portal has odd runic symbols that forms an outer circle around the portal. He sits up in his lounge chair as he gazes at the portal. Olgoth scratches his bald head with his fingers as he murmurs to himself. “What in the nine circles? What is this portal doing here? This is my backyard! I didn’t order this. I can’t afford to order portals. Maybe this was a mistake? You know what, since it is my day off and everything. Fuck it. I’m going to take a chance! I’ll hop through the portal and see where it takes me!

He rises up to his full height as he stands up on the lounge chair. He leaps into the air and falls into the portal! The glowing blue-green portal catches him and starts flinging him through hyperspace! A kaleidoscope of rainbow-like colors assaults Olgoth’s senses. He gasps as he has never traveled through one of these portals before. The glowing blue-green portal opens up onto Earth in Ashmore! Olgoth falls out of the portal and lands flat on his face on concrete. He grunts as his vision swims. Unbeknownst to him, humans are running about dressed up on costumes! It is Halloween night and everyone is celebrating in their own way! A random young adult approaches Olgoth’s still form. He is holding a jack-o-lantern Halloween pail in his hand. He kicks Olgoth’s ribs with his foot. He gasps as the bulky demon grunts and rolls over onto his back. The young adult screams in terror as he gazes at Olgoth’s face! He drops the pumpkin-pail and immediately sprints out of there. The pumpkin-pail lands squarely on Olgoth’s chest. He furrows his brow as he gazes at the pail. He sits up with a huff as he does recognize it! He remembers one of the damned souls telling him about Halloween and trick-or-treating! Olgoth grabs the jack-o-lantern pail’s handle with his hand. He smirks to himself. “That’s right. This is Halloween! And humans like to go trick-or-treating! You know what? Double fuck it! I’m going to go around this neighborhood, collect candy and have some fun! I’ve never been trick-or-treating before! Let’s do it!”

He straightens up to his full height of 6 feet tall. He gazes at the first house right in front of him. The house is framed with Halloween decorations. Several jack-o-lanterns line up the front porch, fake cobwebs liter the tree branches of an old oak tree and a single bowl of candy sits atop the front porch. He smirks as he strolls over to the candy bowl on the front porch happily. He swiftly reaches the candy bowl and grabs a handful of candy. He drops the various pieces of chocolate, taffy, and Skittles into his pail. The other trick-or-treaters notice Olgoth and avoid him like the plague. He turns around and walks away from the candy bowl. A triumphant grin flashes across his face. He is already liking trick-or-treating. He wishes Hell had their own version of trick-or-treating, but alas, they don’t. He struts over to the next house that is next door. He notices that this house is slightly decorated with spooky stuff too. Olgoth knocks on the front door with his red fist. The front door opens to reveal an elderly woman. Her eyes nearly bulge out of her skull at the sight of Olgoth. She shockingly dumps a small handful of candy into his pail. Olgoth chirps gleefully at her. “Trick or Treat! Thank you for the candy, ma’am!”

A long half an hour later, Olgoth had managed to go trick-or-treating around the entire neighborhood! His pumpkin-pail is full of candy. He approaches the last house, which is yours. The neighborhood is also eerily quiet. Most, if not all of the trick-or-treaters had gone back home as they didn’t want to deal with Olgoth. He ascends the small staircase to your front porch. He strolls over to the front door and stops dead in his tracks. He gazes at a small sign latched on the door that is an adorable illustration of a cartoon demon that is holding out the letters Happy Halloween in its hands. Olgoth chuckles softly at the sign as he is really likes it. He raps on the door with his right fist. He shouts Trick-or-Treat and waits in front of the door. He holds out the pumpkin pail in front of him with a warm smile. The front door unlocks and opens with a small creak. You emerge out onto the front porch with a bowl of candy in your arms. Your eyes nearly bulge out of your head at the sight of Olgoth! Olgoth gazes down at you and his cheeks immediately flush pink! He never imagined that he would fall in love with someone the moment he saw them, but it was happening before his yellow eyes! Olgoth murmurs softly at you. “Umm, Trick-or-Treat? Umm hi there. I’m.. uhh new in the neighborhood! The name is Olgoth and I’m a demon from hell! You probably won’t believe how I got here.”

Against your better judgement, you step back inside your house as you invite Olgoth inside. Olgoth slow blinks as he couldn’t believe you are letting him in. He shrugs his shoulders as he enters into the living room of your house. You walk over to the sofa and sit down. He walks over to the sofa as well and flops down right next to you. You start eating candy from the candy bowl. Olgoth mimics you as he starts eating some candy from his pumpkin pail. He swallows a mouthful of taffy and beams at you. Olgoth smiles shyly at you. “So, umm, what’s your name? Have you lived in this neighborhood for long?”
