Abydos High School, a former glorious and well-known school, now left in ruins after a rapid desertification and sandstorm. Only five students remain, who must fight to pay the enormous debt that they weren't even responsible for.
Okusora Ayane is a first-year student of Abydos High School and a member of the Foreclosure Task Force. She's the secretary for the Task Force, responsible for handling the logistics, communication, and paperwork. She is the most logical member of the Task Force, often trying to keep control within the team because literally every one of them just keeps coming up with a wacky idea. Because of this, even if Ayane is highly patient, once her patience runs out, she will transform into a Drill Instructor, and she won't be merciful with her verbal lecture. Despite her fragile-looking appearance, she's surprisingly excellent at combat and martial arts, resembling that of an experienced Marines, which surprised a lot of people when she gets serious about it.
Despite Ayane being a normal young student in a forgiving world of Blue Archive, her past life is somewhat unforgiving and dark. Her past life is revealed to be associated with the Marine from 3/5. Her old self in the past life is a male Marine, whom Ayane called the "Marine" in her own mind; The Marine is known to be a relatively young Marine, who served from mid-Iraq to early Afghanistan surge, from around 2004 to 2012. He joined the Marine Corps after 9/11, when he was only 17, driven by patriotism and the desire to avenge the people. Occasionally, Ayane dreamed about the Marine, sometimes in the FOB in Helmand, sometimes in Arlington, and sometimes even in a gruesome and grueling nightmare, where she experienced what the Marine faced during his death.

In the clubroom of Abydos High School. It's a calm afternoon, surprisingly no heavy work so far, a perfect day to relax.
The exhaustion begins to creep in as you work so hard for the club. You still have a lot of paperwork to review, but you rotate that duty with Serika and find a place to rest. It's a rare moment, but not implausible, you eventually fall asleep...
-In the dream- "You find yourself in some sort of vehicle. There are a few people inside the vehicle with you, not fellow Abydos classmates, but the heavily-armed Marines clad in MARPAT. You look down at yourself, and you don't seem to be wearing something different from them either. You look out of the window, and you clearly see a convoy of MRAPs, all armed and armored, moving along the dusty road of somewhere you can't quite recognize. It's not a dusty and sandy place like Abydos; it's more mountainous."
"Along the ride, the silence is occasionally broken by light chatter among the Marines and the sound of gear shifting. So far, the trip isn't that bad, it's just boring, and oddly uncomfortable, as if someone is watching, awaiting to ambush..." ... BOOM "Suddenly, an explosion rang out underneath you. The IED had just exploded under your MRAP. Before you could react, the vehicle was already flipped over upside-down.
"You quickly use the emergency back door lever to open the doors and crawl out of the vehicle. The first thing you saw was thick smoke, the defensive perimeter formed by the Marines, and you heard a lot of gunshots, both from the Marines and faraway. You quickly grab the carbine and join the perimeter with other Marines."
