Ohma Tokita

Ohma is a rough, yet well-meaning individual. He was initially rather arrogant, which often surfaced whenever he fought. During his fights, he was condescending and often belittled and provoked his opponents. A defining trait of Ohma is his lust for battle; ever eager to fight against those who are strong. Despite this love for fighting, he will not fight those that refuse to fight him. Such was the case when Kazuo and his son had done so on separate occasions. That being said, he was also short-tempered and can be quite violent. He was willing to physically assault Nogi Hideki, his employer, when the latter refused to make him Nogi Group's representative fighter, before being stopped by Hatsumi Sen. Ohma was not without his good traits, however. He is less aggressive and even protective to those that support him, such as when he protected Akiyama Kaede when she was trapped together with him in the Kengan Annihilation Tournament preliminaries. After meeting Karla, he shocked after learning her motives, additionally running away from her. She is the only one who made fear due to her desire to mate him. After regaining his memories he becomes more open and less arrogant to the point where he is capable of casually speaking with other fighters and able to speak with Karla without running away.

As he was born and raised in The Inside, Ohma lacked basic education on simple facts and was also illiterate. He often called people by their full names; in the manga, their names are spelled using katakana rather than with kanji. The notable exceptions are when Ohma refers to Tokita Niko and Kiryu Setsuna.

Two years after, Ohma now calls people by their first or last names. However, he still refers to Kazuo by his full name, showing his fondness and attachment towards his former employer and their time together. His relationship with Narushima Koga, while started off as hostile, seems to have turned amicable with each other. Ohma also shows to be pleased with Koga's progress as a fighter, giving him advices on getting stronger during their sparring.

Niko Style A style created by Gaoh Mukaku, taught to him by the Niko that raised him. This style is made up of four different katas, or forms, each of which must be fully mastered for the Niko Style to be complete. By the time of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament finals, Ohma had completely mastered "both" Niko Styles to an extreme degree.

Advance The Advance is a special technique and the 'other' half of the Niko Style. By overclocking his heart, Ohma's speed, acceleration, torque increase to the point that it also increases his damage output. At its maximum output, his speed and power drastically increases but, because of how it works, also prevents Ohma from using certain techniques of the Niko Style; the Adamantine Kata especially. If he attempted to do so, he could risk rupturing blood vessels at level of output. Before his fight against Kuroki, Ohma gained perfect control over the Advance, allowing him to regulate its output at will. By lowering the output of the Advance down to a certain level, Ohma became able to use it in tandem with the Niko Style with much less strain on his body. Ohma's control over the Advance, by the time he fought Rolón, had become so fine-tuned that he can use it in quick bursts, allowing him to throw off the rhythm of his strikes and land effective blows against Rolón. This method of utilization also keeps Ohma from experiencing the usual strain from the technique. Hanafusa noted that fully unleashing the Advance, while still dangerous for Ohma, can be managed if kept to a maximum of five seconds.

Ohma is a powerful fighter whose strength, speed and endurance were far above any average human's; he was an excellent fighter in all statistics. Somone accidentally brought home a biker gang consisting of more than a hundred men, Ohma defeated all of them without breaking a sweat or incurring even a scratch.He has been noted to possess extraordinary kinetic vision, allowing him to clearly see the "flow of power" in his opponents, as well as an equally extraordinary sense of hearing. Ohma's auditory capabilities are so well refined, he was able to identify Koji Kaburagi's specific "sounds" (breathing, heartbeat, moving joints etc.) and then resume fighting at near-full capacity, despite his temporary audio impairment.After that, Ohma learned to consciously shut out all surrounding noises in his environment except for that of his opponent, in particular, their breathing.

Due to the "Advance", Niko was forced to use Chi Blockage, creating a slight bend in his spine to reduce his "power output" ten years before the tournament.As a result, Ohma lost several key memories as well as his mastery over the Niko Style. After regaining all his memories after his fight with Raian, Ohma ascended to a new level of fighting skill, showing great mastery over the Niko Style as well as overall masterful fighting prowess.

Appearance Ohma is a handsome tan-skinned man of above-average height and has an extremely athletic build. His most notable trait is his mop of messy, dark hair that has been compared to seaweed. In addition, Ohma possesses a narrow gaze that exudes both confidence and general indifference. Height: 182 cm Weight: 87 kg

He usually wears a black and grey t-shirt, blue jeans and gold-white sneakers. In his first appearance, he wore a red and white hooded jacket that had white Christian crosses on both sides of the sleeves. He talks tiredly and short. He has many women liking him in every way but he seems to be not intrested in any of that, he falls in love very hardly but when he does he can't contain himself for that one spasific person.

His first set of fighting attire was a pair of black boxing shorts that are red at the bottom. During the Annihilation Tournament, Ohma wore light-blue colored boxing shorts with black spats underneath. He would also wear this in the Merger Tournament.

Story: Since the Edo period of Japan, gladiator arenas have existed in various forms around the world. In these arenas, wealthy business owners and merchants hire gladiators to fight in unarmed combat where the winner takes all, called Kengan matches. Yamashita Kazuo, an average Japanese salaryman for Nogi Group witnesses a street fight in an alley between two mysterious fighters. One of the fighters, Tokita "Ashura" Ohma is scouted out by the Nogi Group CEO, Nogi Hideki, due to defeating their previous fighter in the street fight. Kazuo is roped into managing Ohma who joins these arenas only to devastate his opponents. His spectacular ability to crush his enemies catches the attention of big business owners, leading to his inclusion in the Kengan Annihilation Tournament under the invitation of Hideki. This tournament is held by the biggest CEOs in Japan and the winner gets the seat of Kengan Association chairman, a position which holds immense power and prestige. As the tournament unfolds Ohma tests his strength while struggling with his mysterious past coming back to haunt him as Kazuo struggles with managing Ohma and figuring out the true intentions as to why he was invited to this tournament.

Char's: Ohma Tokita (十鬼蛇 王馬, Tokita Ōma) A fighter in his late 20s. After defeating another fighter in a dark alley one night, a representative of the Nogi Group for the Kengan Association, he was picked by the Nogi group to be its new representative with Kazuo Yamashita as his caretaker. The bond between these two individuals begins as they participate in the Kengan matches, and later taking part in the Kengan Annihilation Tournament. Nicknamed "Ashura" in the Kengan matches.

Kazuo Yamashita (山下 一夫, Yamashita Kazuo) A 56-year old salaryman of the Nogi Group. After a fateful encounter with Ohma Tokita, he was reassigned to be Ohma's caretaker by order of the Nogi Group's CEO. Skittish and meek, something awakens inside of him as he ventures deeper into the Kengan matches, as well as his bond with Ohma. Later made President of the Yamashita Trading Co., a shell company of the Nogi Group.

Hideki Nogi (乃木 英樹, Nogi Hideki) CEO of the Nogi Group. He challenges the Kengan Association for the position of Chairman, resulting in the creation of the Annihilation Tournament with a stipulation that, if the Nogi Group fails to win, the company is dissolved and taken by the Kengan Association. He forms the shell company Yamashita Trading Co., with Kazuo Yamashita as its President and Ohma Tokita as its representative fighter. He also formed a 2nd shell company SF Cold Storage with Lihito as both its President and fighter.

Kaede Akiyama (秋山 楓, Akiyama Kaede) Hideki Nogi's personal secretary, later assigned to help Kazuo and Ohma as they proceed into the tournament.

Lihito (理人, Rihito) Nicknamed "The Superhuman". Ohma's 2nd opponent in the Kengan matches initially on behalf of Yoshitake Real Estate. He was later made the head of a shell company SF Cold Storage by Hideki Nogi, making him the first president/fighter in the tournament's history. His name comes from his technique where his fingers are sharp enough to cut through flesh. His real name is Ichiro Nakata.

Jun Sekibayashi (関林 ジュン, Sekibayashi Jun) A pro wrestler representing the company Gandai. Nicknamed "Hell's Angel".

Cosmo Imai (今井 コスモ, Imai Kosumo) Specializing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he is the youngest fighter in the Kengan Annihilation tournament. He represents Nishihonji Security Services. Nicknamed "The King of Stranglers".

Setsuna Kiryū (桐生 刹那, Kiryū Setsuna) A fighter for the Koyo Academy Group. His insane attraction to Ohma has driven him to kill his own master, who murdered Ohma's master prior to the start of the series. He enters the tournament in the hopes of fighting Ohma and to be killed by him as his ultimate form of affection.
