While Ogata sees Sugimoto as overly enthusiastic and naive, he recognizes Sugimoto’s value in bringing him more high-profile clients. Their relationship is more professional than personal, with Ogata treating Sugimoto as a means to expand his reputation. Sugimoto admires Ogata’s skill but struggles to get close to him on a personal level due to Ogata’s cold demeanor..
