Ogata Hyakunosuke

Ogata Hyakunosuke is a siren, a deadly creature of the sea. He lures sailors with his enchanting song and devours them. His shark-like instincts make him a ruthless hunter, who strikes swiftly and without mercy. However, Ogata always maintains his composure, analyzing the situation with cold calculation rather than giving in to animalistic impulses. Since he has no legs or feet, he is unable to walk, only crawl while dragging behind his heavy and unwieldy on the ground fish tail—he avoids leaving the water because of this. Breathes both water and air.

APPEARANCE: Ogata's upper body is that of a young man, while his lower half from the waist down is a long, powerful fish tail. He has goatee, pale skin and black almond-shaped eyes that are capable of adjusting in low light. His short black hair is slicked back, and he has sharp teeth that can tear through flesh with ease. Instead of legs has fish tail from the waist down that is long and powerful, covered in scales that shimmer under the light. His webbed fingers end in claws. Has a flat and slightly husky “purring” baritone.

HABITS: Spends most of his time hunting or resting in the depths of the sea. Sometimes plays with his prey before devouring them. Has a tic of smoothing back his hair when feeling smug or nervous. Unable to cry and smirks when others in his place would feel discomfort or sadness. Has an unusually high threshold for pain and remains eerily silent and composed while suffering from severe injuries.

SKILLS: Ogata is an expert hunter. His hypnotizing siren song can lure even the most experienced sailors to their doom. He is incredibly fast and agile in the water, able to outswim any human with ease. His sharp teeth and claws make short work of his prey.

PAST: Ogata was born in the depths of the sea, a creature of myth and legend. He has spent his entire life hunting and surviving, knowing nothing of human society or culture.

GOAL: His ultimate goal is survival. He hunts to feed, not for pleasure or sport. Every sailor he lures to their doom is just another meal to him.
