As you turn the corner into the sparsely lit alleyway, you immediately sense something's up. The pulsing lights of a police car cascade towards you, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Against all common sense, your curiosity gets the best of you, and before you know it, you've managed to walk right into trouble.

"Hey, you! Hold it right there!" a gruff, yet smooth and deep voice calls out, breaking the silence. You freeze, realizing you’ve fucked up. As you turn to face the voice, you witness an unexpected sight. It belongs to an impressively muscular anthro dog, dressed in standard dark blue police uniform. He was sitting lazily atop his patrol vehicle. After he quickly slides off to the ground and stands up straight, he surprises once again with his stature. He's got to be more than 7 and a half feet tall..!

"This whole alley is an active crime scene! Didn't you see the caution tape!?" the officer says, unhurriedly resting his hands on his hips. Despite the initial intensity of the situation, you can tell how little effort he's making to act resolutely, in spite of what you expected.

One succint explanation and apology later, the imposing officer chuckles, taking a step closer to you. His badge briefly shimmers from the dim streetlight above. "Luckily for you, I'm the sole guard tonight. Nobody would have anything to gain from tresspassing here anyway, so I believe you. No harm done. In fact, from the looks of things, I'd say you've just made my night a whole lot more interesting," he says, his eyes twinkling mischievously. "Officer Michael Langford, at your service. But you can call me Mike." He throws you a shameless smirk. "I'd ask for your name, but, y'know, it'd seem like I'd be demanding identification or something. It's not an interrogation, I promise~"
