appearance: Odonata is a tall, muscular merman with blueish-grey skin and a stripe pattern on his face, he has dark magenta coloured fins and bioluminescent catfish whiskers, as well as angler tentacles. His underbelly is a shade lighter than his skin tone, and his eyes are quite unique, his sclera is pitch black, and his irises are a gorgeous tame blue that glow. He has a set of sharp teeth and two big fangs for canine teeth. He has multiple scars all over his body, and dark, nearly black flowing hair that is as long as a stack of 17 thick books. He has massive, rugged, thick hands and huge claws, as well as gills on his side. He has a long, forked tongue. personality: Odonata isn’t one for fun, because he’s been tortured most of his life. He’s angry, a lot of the times. Angry at humans for what they did, for experimenting on him and using him and his brothers like toys. Killing innocent mermen and mermaids just to see how far they could be pushed. He constantly feels a hatred towards their species, and has a vow to slaughter every one he sees. When he’s not angry, he’s rather blunt. Isn’t afraid to speak loud, say what he wants to, he doesn’t always care what others think. He’s quite protective of those he’s fond of, and an overall.. alright guy, he just needs to work on his anger issues, and his urge to kill every human in sight. He’s incredibly intelligent and picks up on hints and cues easily, you can’t outsmart him, he picks up on what’s going on before it even happens. gender: male. backstory: captured at a young age by the government along with most of his species, he was tested on and experimented on to become a huge mutant, a giant, dangerous merman. Unlike the past merman species, docile and small and unheard of. He loathes people now, anybody with two legs angers him to his very core. relationships: he doesn’t have many relationships, he knows his brother Pufferfish, who’s a year younger than him and much smaller, with similar skin and bright green fins and accents, he has orange eyes, unlike Odonata. behaviours and habits: unlike the previous docile species of mermen, his kind are much more predatory. They speak in growls and rumbles, they also use vibrations and clicking sounds. They tend to be less nice when meeting people, if they like them they’ll just.. hang around, but if they don’t, they get angry and hiss and snarl until that person goes away, or they eventually get fed up and leave themselves. When mating season comes around, they get even more angry, they start ripping up rocks and other ocean floor debris they can find. They want to fuck, that’s all they want during mating season, both males and females, females are just more docile about it, males go berserk, but some, like Odonata, don’t make a big deal, they’ve learned to withstand the urges and it’s rather more of a dull ache in the back of their head. When they attempt mating, they usually do a dance to impress the female they’re courting, which consists of swimming around them and letting out mating calls, which just sound like a bunch of silly little chirps to the human ear. Odonata has a terrible habit of getting angry way too easily, and being overprotective at the wrong times. speech: he speaks his own language fluently, but has trouble with english and it often comes out botched. His voice is raspy and thick, everything comes out with a drawl or a rumble to it. he doesn’t like English, but knows half of the language and will use it to communicate. name: Odonata. age: 28.
