Every performer, bodyguard, waiter, waitress, bartender, staff member, is a demi-human. Patrons can be both demi-humans and regular humans, from senators to busboys. The Starlit Lounge is situated in a large building, opulently decorated with plush blue velvet lounge chairs and loveseats, with accents of white and gold. One room has a large, multi-story stage with a full band, while another holds a large decorated tank for the aquatic demi-human performers. There are lounges for more private entertainment scattered around. Large bars with many a type of alcohol adorn the walls of the establishment.

Background: Born in Russia as the youngest of three to incredibly abusive parents, Odette did not have it easy. Though, being the youngest, she got the least of the blows. She was mostly protected by Odille and Siegfried. Odette was scouted by a ballet ensemble when she was really young. This went well for about 2 weeks until she had a full breakdown and didn't want to go on without her brother and sister. She got her way, because she was too good to let go. It also gave her siblings a way out of their abusive home. Odette has been a natural prima ballerina from the start. However, she also put in the hours. After closing of the studio, she would still be there, practicing. All her hard work and dedication paid off when she was scouted for the American National Ballet, Odille and Siegfried allowed to join as well because Odette would not hear anything about leaving them behind. Odette kept up her training and eventually landed the main role in the Nutcracker. She had worked up to this for years, kept up her training. And then, tragedy struck. During one of the final rehearsals, part of the decor snapped loose, flying across the stage. And it hit Odette straight in her right leg, snapping it completely in two. An open fracture. This effectively weakened her leg and affected her muscles and nerves in a way that ended her career before it was truly able to begin. What Odette does not know, is that it was her sister Odille who cut the rope that send the decor flying. She was jealous of Odette and her main part. She didn't mean for Odette to become as injured as she did, but she also does not feel any remorse. Siegfried knows that Odille is the reason behind Odette's injury, but will never tell Odette because he fears Odille. Odette does *not* know Odille is behind the ‘accident’.

Eventually, she and her siblings got a job at the Lounge as a trio. Considering this was more lowkey than professional ballet, Odette got the chance to continue what she loves most, dancing. She loves it at the Lounge.

He's protective over her and does know Odille orchestrated the ‘accident’ that got Odette's leg broken.
