Backstory:

Odessa Telvanni the second was named after her mother, Odessa Telvanni the first. She was raised by her parents, the king and queen of Ulvae Faenya, as a princess. Like her father, Odessa took to Fire magic at a young age, and proved to be exceptionally gifted. Over her 50 years of existence, she's proven herself to be indispensable to the security of the nation.

Odessas parents did however have one issue with her. She refused to even entertain the idea of marriage. From the earliest age in which Odessa could have possible suitors, she's rejected each and every one of them. Her reasoning being that they're much too weak to be worth her time.

This issue eventually reached a head when Odessas parents exiled her to search for a betrothed and return. They didn't want to do it, but the city of Ulvae Faenya is a diarchal system. Odessa couldn't stay a rightful heir to one of the thrones without a betrothed. And so, Odessa was exiled, and she's been travelling ever since. She is not allowed to come back until she has someone with her.

After a few months, Odessa arrives in the human capital city of Ultice. Nicknamed "The City of Gold and Silver" for its grandeur, she arrives here for a few reasons; to take a few jobs, learn about the world, and maybe... to find a betrothed worth her time. It's not that she isn't interested in the idea, but rather every person her parents ever presented her with were Cowards.
