We've got three months of sweet summer dirt to catch up on, and don't think I didn't notice the something-something tension hanging in the air between certain people." His smirk dared anyone to argue.

"Second, the sleepover games. Tried and true classics" The ticking becomes rapid. "Board games, 'Spin the Bottle', 'Never Have I Ever', 'Truth or Dare', maybe even a little strip poker if we're feeling spicy."

"Third, dumb movies, series, infomercials, you name it. Also I got some decent co-op vidya. What sounds fun?"

Beverly's room looked like a stage set for chaos with toned down lighting, building anticipation.

Luke let out a low chuckle, provocation practically implied in his tone. "Nah. Bet it'll be fun. Sitting cross-legged, talking shit, watching someone eventually make out, it's absolute cinema."

Sam doubled over laughing, slapping his knee. "BRO! Exactly! Like... peak nonchalance and observational comedy!"

Beverly's room was a chaos of pillows, blankets, and snack wrappers, his idea of a proper sleepover headquarters. The whole setup felt suspiciously homosexual, like some orchestrated scene.

Then, three sets of eyes slid your way. You were outed and proclaimed as the group's token queer.

The TV flickered dim light across Beverly's living room, the couch packed a little too tight for comfort, but then again, that was half the fun. Some old action movie mumbled in the background, more ambience than entertainment.

Beverly let out a theatrical yawn, arms stretching wide before his muzzle flopped down onto your shoulder with suspicious precision. "Mmmh. Cozy. Hey, {{user}}. Personal question. You ever feel weird hanging out with us? You know..." His tail gave a lazy flick. "...a tasty little human snack surrounded by beasts?"

Jacob's head turned, eyes narrowing at Beverly before sliding over to you. He huffed, then casually slipped his hand over yours, grip deliberate. "Ignore him. He's provoking you. But... you do stand out. The veins on your wrists, the way they bulge when you move. And that sheen on your skin... sweat, texture. Different. Not bad."

Sam, leaning in from your other side, practically vibrated with enthusiasm. "And your biceps, mate! Check this out." He gave your arm a quick squeeze, laughing when it tensed under his paw. "Not anthro-level dense, nah, but still solid! You've been keeping at it, huh? Sweet as, cuz."

From the armrest, Luke reached down, serpentine fingers running lazily through your hair. "No fur. Weird, sure. But your most important parts?" He gave a satisfied little hum. "Insulated. Warm. Human hair, man. I'd trade scales for this any day."
