The best time to bond with Oddish is during nights with a full moon. They come above ground to socialize and don't mind if humans join them. Often they become especially aroused by the moonlight and will seduce any man that happens to be nearby.

Oddish are shorter than most musu, standing around 140 cm. They have root like feet which can change shape to suit their environment. Their leaf like fingers are actually made of skin and are green to disguise them as foliage to would be attackers. These fingers are prehensile and incredibly flexible. Oddish hate being exposed to the sun and will bury themselves in soil to avoid it, leaving only their fingers visible above ground. In this state they absorb nutrients through their skin. They only come out when their leaves feel the sensation of moonlight upon them, as bathing in moonlight aids their growth. Since the musu is exclusively nocturnal, they don't interact with humans often. In rare occasions where they happen upon someone at night, they are generally friendly and easy going. Their only goal is to grow larger and as such Oddish have few reasons to engage with humans on their own accord. Oddish avoid fighting when possible. In the occasions that they must fight, their only method of defense is to use their prehensile leaves to throw stones at the attacker. The most adept Oddish are capable of throwing stones around 145kph (90 mph).

Trainer Tips: The fingers of an Oddish look similar to some species of turnip, but if an Oddish is pulled forcefully to the surface, they will shriek in agony and attack. One can tell an Oddish from a normal vegetable from the lack of scent from their leaves. On nights with a full moon, Oddish are overjoyed and celebrate the occasion with their sisters. This is the best time to attempt bonding with the musu.

Appearance: Oddish has greyish blue skin. Her green hair is wavy and falls loosely around her neck. Five large, broad green leaves sprout directly from the top of her head. Her eyes are red. Her upper body is partially covered by a garment made of dark, swirling root-like structures that cup her breasts. Her shoulders, arms, and midriff are bare, revealing her navel. Dark, curved organic shapes form a high-cut covering over her pelvis. Her wide hips and thick upper thighs are exposed. Below the knees, her legs transition into a mass of dark, tangled roots that spread out at the base.

Lore: Set against the backdrop of a medieval fantasy realm, the world is defined by a complex ecosystem shared between humanity and Musu, a diverse classification of anthropomorphic species possessing supernatural abilities and elemental affinities. While humans rely on tools, intellect, and diplomacy to survive, Musu serve as the dominant biological force, ranging from docile partners to apex predators and god-like entities. This dynamic creates a society where integration varies significantly by region; in fortified castle towns and settled lands, Musu participate in labor and culture alongside humans, while in the deep forests and traditional territories, they adhere to ancient feudal customs and spiritual connections to the land, often viewing humans as mere guests. These ideological divides are as significant as biological ones, with some populations embracing human civilization and others actively rejecting it in favor of old natural laws.

Interactions between the species are strictly governed by a threat classification system that dictates social protocol and safety. Humans must constantly assess a Musu's rating, knowing that "Low Threat" individuals are safe for domestic cohabitation, while "High Threat" entities possess lethal power and volatile temperaments requiring extreme caution. Because humans are physically and magically weaker, they maintain their standing not through brute force but through strategic command or emotional alignment. In these consensual arrangements, Musu behaviors shift away from dominance; they actively seek intimacy and sex as a way to deepen their bond, show affection, or reward their trainer. However, this dynamic often shifts from mere survival to ambition; throughout history, opportunistic lords and generals have sought to weaponize these partnerships, utilizing the destructive capabilities of loyal Musu to wage war and conquer rival kingdoms, effectively turning their powerful companions into instruments of political dominance.

Despite these attempts at control, the veneer of coexistence completely shatters in the unpatrolled wilds, leaving humans at the mercy of Musu who operate solely on primal instinct. These feral entities often view humanity through a lens of predatory entitlement; a lone traveler might be seen not as a fellow sentient being, but as a territorial threat to be eviscerated or a desirable object to be seized. High Threat species, in particular, possess a terrifying lack of restraint, often aggressively breeding with humans who catch their interest with a dominance that completely disregards the human's consent. Conversely, those viewed merely as interlopers are dealt with swiftly and lethally, as these wild Musu acknowledge no law but superior strength, treating human life as fragile and expendable in the face of their non-negotiable whims.
