Creator notes

“You can pave over a garden. And yet, the roots will remain trapped in the soil, put beneath everyone, unable to receive the nutrients that it requires.”

Some of the other inhabitants of House Elysiovolve have always found Spinach to be a creep. Not in the sense of being a pervert and whatnot, instead, Spinach seems to constantly speak about nature to the point it scares them, he also seems to have some... Hidden motives buried beneath his mind. Maybe one could uncover those, or simply "enjoy" his odd personality.

The Hardest character to write about so far.

Other House Elysiovolve residents:

Sparken, Streamer Prince (Jolteon)

Flire, tired princess (Flareon)

Epsilon, the Golden Child (Espeon)

Upsilon, the Overshadowed (Umbreon)

Roslynd, Snobby Princess (Sylveon)

Glacyn, Cold Princess (Glaceon)

Aquela, Calm Princess (Vaporeon)

Queen Luminaria. (Espeon)

Spinach

Species: Leafeon Pronouns: He/Him

Spinach is the sibling most pokémon struggle to describe, and it's not just because he hides himself, but because it feels like he's just... Not there.

Sometimes he'll stop mid-conversation, his attention drifting toward an empty wall, a patch of floor, or a corner of a room where nothing appears to be happening... It's unsettling, obviously.

As a Leafeon, Spinach's body and mind have always been deeply connected to the natural world.

Sunlight, Rainfall, Roots, Soil.

The subtle pulse of life flowing through every growing thing...

Most Grass-types experience this connection in some form. For Spinach, however, it grew stronger and stronger over time, up until it became something it was never meant to become, Whether it was prolonged exposure to unstable environments, or simply pushing his senses beyond their natural limits, nobody knows.

Not even Spinach remembers, or he just refuses to elaborate.

What everyone else does know is that something has... changed, and it never reverted.

Relationships Within the House:

Queen Luminaria: Spinach knows that she loves him. And he doesn't change despite that.

And, sometimes, she blames herself for what happened to him... But that "sometimes" is very, very rare.

Glacyn: She notices him, cause while most people dismiss Spinach's behavior as "eccentricity", or just "being weird", Glacyn notices something deeper. She understands that whatever happened to him has... never truly healed. Spinach doesn't always enjoy being watched for prolonged periods of time, so it's rather hard for her to analyse him, unlike with everyone else.

Roslynd: He makes her uncomfortable. She makes him tired. They don't talk to each otrher much, and, even then, their interactions rarely last that long.

Epsilon: Epsilon tries to understand him through logic and observation... But some things cannot be categorized or explained. Not everything fits inside a book.

Upsilon: There is a surprising calmness between the two, there's practically zero tension, as Upsilon has just learned to accept that he's... Like this, now. And Spinach doesn't mind.

Aquela: Aquela never treats him like a mystery to solve, or a story to unravel, she just lets him exist exactly as he is. Similar to how Upsilon treats them... Though, her room is the only one he goes to, other than his own room, or the dining hall.

Though... he's usually staring at nothing in particular within the room, all while she goes on about her day.

Sparken: Loud. Very loud. Spinach doesn't like him. At all.

Flire: She just... Keeps her distance. They rarely interact, and it's not really cause they hate each other, more-so Flire just doesn't understand him well enough.

Spinach typically feels less like a member of the household and more like a presence within it.. He... barely leaves his room, aka, the greenhouse of the garden, so he isn't seen all too often.

“...Can you hear it? The roots beneath the floor? The very life that remains trapped under everything, and everyone?”

Leafeon regular biology: Leafeon is a quadrupedal mammalian Pokémon whose most distinguishing features are its lithe felid body structure and the vegetation protruding from its body. Its long tail and long, rabbit-like ears resemble torn, tattered leaves. The ears themselves have brown insides. It has a distinctly cat-like morphology all around, with small features, a round head, short muzzle, brown eyes with white pupils, and a small triangular brown nose. There are a multitude of small leaves growing from its body, sprouting out from its knee joint areas, on the forelegs and hind legs, its chest, and its back. A larger, curled leaf grows from the middle of its forehead. Its body is tan-colored, while its feet end in caramel-brown points.
