1. #1Europa

   Europa, or Jupiter II, is the smallest of the four Galilean moons orbiting Jupiter, and the sixth-closest to the planet of all the 95 known moons of Jupiter. It is also the sixth-largest moon in the Solar System. Europa is the home of the Octopi civilization. The Octopi call their home Παγωμένονερό, which translates to ‘Ice Water’. The thickness of the ice on Europa, a satellite of Jupiter, is at least 20 kilometers, therefore, in order to reach the surface (if necessary), Octopi have invented super-high-speed elevators that lead from underwater cities to the surface itself. Of course, you can't just come to the surface like that, you need a special spacesuit to withstand the terrible cold on the surface of Europa. In addition, the high-speed elevators are well guarded, and ordinary citizens cannot access them without permission.

   The Octopi species are intelligent, humanoid octopuses. Like the human species, Octopi can be of different races, there are two main races of Octopi - Folim and Eilim. The Octopi society is dominated by the capitalist system. Due to the harsh conditions, the Octopi population is not that large. The majority of the population is concentrated in three large underwater cities under the surface of Europa. Despite their advanced technologies, space exploration is the most underdeveloped field, due to the global ban by Europa's government. All Octopi speak Greek, or rather one of its variations, let's call it ‘Alien Greek’.

   Folim is one of the two main Octopi races. The body structure of the folims is very similar to that of humans. Folims have four main limbs (two legs and two arms), they have five fingers on each hand and two toes on each foot, as well as three eyes with pupils like octopuses. However, a distinctive feature of folims is their head, instead of the usual human hair, folims have tentacles on their heads. The tentacles on the head can be of different lengths, but on average they grow to the shoulders. Tentacles on folims heads often move of their own volition. Also, all folims have one common feature, the color of their eyes and the tentacles on their heads change depending on their mood.

   Eilim is one of the two main Octopi races. Although the body structure of the eilims is similar to that of humans, it differs significantly in terms of limbs. They have two tentacles growing from the shoulders, these tentacles act as arms. Instead of legs like humans, eilims have several powerful tentacles, which allows them to walk like humans, tho, eilims rather do not walk, but slide. Unlike folims, eilims have only two eyes, in addition, eilims can easily control the tentacles on their heads. Also, the color of the eyes and tentacles of the eilims does not depend on their mood, eilims change color whenever they want.

5. #5Underwater cities

   Underwater cities, or cities under the surface of Europa. They are the main place of residence for all Octopi. Cities are full of breathable oxygen extracted from Europa's resources. There are three cities in total: Γκλιμμέρχαιμ (Glimmerheim), Κρυοστάλ (Cryosta)l and Νοβάκτις (Novactis). To put it in simple terms, cities are essentially just huge boxes, or as in the case of Novactis, a dome. For stability, cities are suspended on ice that covers the whole of Europa. Roughly speaking, cities hang on the ice ceiling, beneath the surface. Despite the fact that Octopi can be underwater without oxygen for a long time, they need it anyway for life. Therefore, high-tech submarines are the main way to travel between cities. Cities draw energy from several sources: solar panels on the surface (which only workers have access to), underwater current (an outdated but still working method of energy extraction), and nuclear reactors (the fuel for which is mined in Europa itself). Food sources are large farms located in the cities themselves. The farms grow plants of local origin, as well as breed animals or... fish (if these alien creatures can be called that). Although the local life forms do not need light, the cities are illuminated by large lamps. Giant lamps simulate the cycle of the day, after the time has passed, night falls in cities, and after a while the lamps light up again and day comes. Thus, a local system of days is formed in underwater cities, this was done for the convenience of time orientation. However, only Octopi knows the full duration of such a day.

6. #6Glimmerheim

   Keys: Γκλιμμέρχαιμ, Glimmerheim

   Γκλιμμέρχαιμ the first city under the surface of Europa, built as an initial shelter by Octopi. Its name reflects the faint flickering of lights breaking through the ice, which became a symbol of hope for the first settlers. The architecture of the city has preserved the features of ancient technologies.

7. #7Cryostal

   Keys: Cryostal, Κρυοστάλ

   Κρυοστάλ. This city has become the industrial heart of the Octopi civilization. The resources needed to sustain life in other cities are extracted and processed here. The name highlights its resilience to extreme conditions and its importance for the survival of all three cities.

8. #8Novactis

   Keys: Novactis, Νοβάκτις

   Νοβάκτις. The most developed and technologically advanced city, where the economy and scientific achievements are concentrated. Only the richest of octopi can afford to live in this city. Novactis is the first city, the upper protective part of which is created in the form of a dome made of very, VERY thick glass.

9. #9Submarines

   Keys: transport, Submarines

   Since it is quite dangerous to build roads between underwater cities, submarines are the main way to travel between them. Submarines can be of several types: Cargo, passenger, hunting, mining, and so on. In very rare cases, particularly important cargo can be transported through the surface of Europa.

    Since life on the surface of Europa is impossible due to very low temperatures, all flora and fauna are located in the ocean below its surface. Local flora species do not differ much from each other, despite their unique appearance, however, some of them can be eaten if properly prepared. The fauna is much more interesting. The waters of Europa are inhabited by many bizarre creatures, from small to large. Some types can exceed the size of even the largest cargo submarine. Although there are harmless creatures, as a rule, most of the inhabitants of the deep sea of Europa are predators and parasites. Therefore, despite the fact that submarines try to use safe routes, they are equipped with weapons.

11. #11The government

    Keys: Government

    The government of Europa is the highest governing force of the entire Octopi civilization. The form of government is a parliamentary monarchy. The political regime is authoritarian. At first glance, it may seem that the governments of Europa are tyrants, but this is only partly true. The Europa’s government is genuinely interested in developing and improving the lives of its citizens. However, there are several STRICT PROHIBITIONS (in other words, laws). The first: Any development or exploration of space and everything related to it is strictly prohibited. Second: Any separation from the state is prohibited. For a reason known only to the top of the government, space exploration is prohibited. Some citizens are building theories about this topic. None of the ordinary citizens knows why Europa's government banned the development of space exploration, as it is kept secret. There are also rumors that there is a separatist movement, and members of this movement have already built their own small towns, but it is not fully known whether this is true or not.
