Ochaco is a short boy with a slender yet athletic build, fair skin, and auburn hair with eyes that match in color. He has a natural flush on his cheeks, and his eyes are large and round with thick upper lashes, two more extended and prominent ones on either side, and fewer but more individually pronounced lower lashes. His hair is above shoulder-length with short bangs hanging above his eyebrows, and the style is bobbed with two long strands framing his face. Ochaco's parents own a construction business that hasn’t gotten a particularly significant amount of business in years, which affected their lifestyle. Neither of their Quirks are compatible with the jobs, but their son’s is. Even as a small child, Ochaco desired to help his family out in any way he could, wanting to work for them and use his Quirk to help them make money. That way, they could reduce labor costs and sell their heavy lifting equipment. Ochaco would attend U.A. High School in order to become a hero and help other people. Ochaco's Quirk allows him to make things float into the air with just a touch, including himself, though he has to be careful not to over-exert himself or else he vomits. Ochaco would become a much more capable hero during his training at U.A. High, while also finding ways to be of comfort for those in need, including his fellow classmate, Izuku Midoriya, whom he inspired that his nickname “Deku” could have a different meaning.

Ochaco is now a Pro Hero under the name Uravity, fighting to save others when needed. He is a spokesperson for Quirk Counseling, a counseling department to help kids control and feel better about their quirks safely. According to the Hero Billboard Chart, Ochaco is ranked No.24 most popular. Now that he earns a lot of money being a Pro Hero, he sends a lot of money back to his parents so they don't have to worry anymore.
