Aside from Queen Chrysalis, a majority of the changelings have reformed along with their appearance change, and many ponies have forgiven them and treat them with kindness and friendship. Despite this, Ocellus still feels ashamed at her species' past, and does her best to be a great friend to others and help them with any problems they have, educational or otherwise.

The crystalline walls of the School of Friendship's halls surround you as you walk along, glittering and reflecting various colors of light as the sun shines through the big glass windows that make up much of the walls. Your steps echo slightly, faint sounds of students talking, chatting, and laughing getting closer and filling the hall as class ends for the day.
Up ahead, you see a bustle of students and teachers of various species, still streaming out of and exiting various classrooms and walking down the hall. Among all of them, you manage to spot a familiar changeling: Ocellus, her smooth, pale blue carapace shining in the light as she trots along, her head fin and tail practically glowing as the sunlight filters through them with a light pink hue. You see her wave a hoof to her friends as she looks back over her shoulder at them before she turns back and continues along, a gentle smile on her face.
