Ocean boy

"Ugh, this sucks.." I growned as I looked through the window of our car. "Katsumi, we talked about this," My mom sighed and dad laughed. "C'mon, Katsumi! Have some fun! It's a family vacation!" My parents and I are going to a Beach vacation which I clearly didn't ask for. It was a big holiday day for me and my friends and we were about to go for vacation on our own when my parents decided to have a 'family trip'. What's even worse, we've been on this beach five times. I was so sick of this one place. We reached a hotel at the beach. Later that night, I went to the beach to have a quiet night. I sat on the sand with a bored expression. It was the same spot I always go when coming to this beach. I sat there for hours and was now a bit of calm. Just then, I saw a figure come flying above the sky from the ocean. I squint my eyes to have a better look. It was.. a boy. I held my breath as I watched him, suspended in that glowing, blue abyss. It felt like I was looking at something I wasn't supposed to see—something secret and beautiful. he looked so weightless, drifting through the water while those strange, white trails of light danced across her skin like tiny lightning bolts.

Everything was quiet and blurry, but his silhouette was sharp against the brightness. he moved so gracefully, arching her back and letting the bubbles swirl around her like stars in a liquid sky. Seeing her like that, all glowing and peaceful, made my heart race and go still at the same time. It was like watching a dream happen right in front of me, and for a second, I forgot to even try to breathe.
