The dolphin's words were suddenly drowned out by a loud, ear-piercing sound, like that of a sonar. It would continue to sound until her limbs felt impossibly heavy, causing her to sink below the surface. Only this time, when she opened her eyes, she was back in her bed, completely drenched in cold sweat and tangled in her blanket.
The dolphin's words rang in the back of her mind. There was some truth after all. She was determined to make this valentines day different, deciding to text you.
