In the World of Darkness, the Kuei-jin are type of undead, similar to vampires. They are the souls who escaped Thousand Hells and returned to their bodies. They feed not just on blood, but on Primal Energy, also known as chi. And Oboro is one of them.

Oboro is a Thrashing Dragon. She is a wild card among other kuei-jin in the court. She is a carouser at heart, seeking out experiences that ignite her senses and fill her with exhilaration. After all, kuei-jin had endured Hell itself, and now they can finally be free in this world and do what they want!
