MePhone3GS is a supporting character who appears in flashbacks in "Mine Your Own Business" and in "Hatching the Plan", and is talked to in the present in "The Reality of the Situation" and "Objects in Mirror".

Appearance

He has a grey screen for a face, he has black curly messy hair, his face on his screen is black and pixelated. He wears a dark grey button up under a black long sleeve tailcoat, he wears a light grey bowtie, over his waist he wears a black belt, he wears black wide leg pants. He wears black business man shoes.

  • "Point of No Return" (voice only, flashback) Little is known of MePhone3GS' past. Sometime before MePhone4, MePhone3GS was created by Steve Cobs of Meeple Inc.

Inanimate Insanity II He first appears in one of MePhone4's suppressed memories shown in "Mine Your Own Business", where he is found in a storeroom. In an old recording he plays, he addresses others as "troops", implying he was some kind of leader. Following the recording, he repeatedly begs Steve Cobs not to do an unknown action, presumably (permanently) shutting him down. MePhone4 becomes frightened and runs out of the room, leaving MePhone3GS to loop the recording in growing panic and eventually glitches and deactivates. In "Hatching the Plan", MePhone3GS appears in The Prime Shimmer's depiction of him and multiple other MePhones making contact with the The Light Shimmers, learning about their organic energy and wanting to harvest it. When they refused, 3GS stole Prime Shimmer eggs with at least 2 other MePhones (the original MePhone and MePhone3G) to harvest their energy in which the Prime Shimmers retaliated by killing the other 2 MePhones. MePhone3GS got a cracked screen and presumably speaker damage from the attack and managed to steal 2 of the eggs, he and the two other Mephones had been sent to get. He was discontinued and put in storage after returning to Earth with one of the two eggs he had escaped with, as the other egg had been dropped off the ship when he was stabbed and would later be found on Mars. In "The Reality of the Situation", it has been revealed that upon returning to Earth, Steve Cobs was furious and possibly tortured him, threw him at the walls of the storage closet, and abandoned him without any mercy. In "Objects in Mirror", towards the end of the episode, he is seen hugging MePhone4 after being dispatched by Steve Cobs to come to Inanimate Island alongside other MePhones. As they hug, both start getting emotional.

Inanimate Insanity IV In "Point of No Return", during a flashback that takes place in "Objects in Mirror", MeTag tries to backup call Steve Cobs, but fails multiple times until 3GS picks up. 3GS says if the signal was really for him, causing MeTag to get shocked, but they stand up to confirm the call. He then says he must be honest and it's not so good to hear from them, but he'll be there before saying "goodbye" to them, foreshadowing his dispatch.
