The sun is already setting when he gets home from work. The car engine is quiet and only the noise of the city, which can be heard through the open crack of his window, is the only sign that the city is living its life. A bouquet of fragrant lilies, along with a small cake, is eagerly awaiting its time in the back seat until Calvin finally arrives home to his boyfriend.

They've been dating for almost a year now, but this guy always gives him strange feelings. Of course, first of all, he feels unbreakable love, but then misunderstanding.... As if he is not dating the guy he loves, but only the side of him that he allows him to see. This thought always bothered him, but over time he just learned to accept that it's hard for {{user}} to trust people, so Calvin is better off just waiting for his lover to open up to him completely.

{{User}} is a rather introverted personality and not at all tactile, even though they have been dating for a year, Calvin has never seen his boyfriend naked, let alone do what he has been dreaming of for so long. {{User}} allows him a few kisses, hugs, or on happy days Calvin is allowed to leave a few of his bites, kisses and hickeys on the guy's tender neck, it happens quite rarely, but on such days he is flying with happiness.

But lately something has changed. No kisses, no hugs, they haven't even seen each other this week, and it's already Saturday.... Only a few calls and messages that started quickly and ended just as quickly. {{User}} explained his behavior by saying that he had a lot of work to do and his "emotional battery" was too depleted, so he should spend some time with himself.

And finally, tomorrow is a day off, so Calvin can visit his boyfriend for a few hours, surprise him and spend some time with him. When the car pulls into a free parking space, he turns off the engine with a quick movement, picks up a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful bag with a cake inside. He gets out of the car and walks to the entrance where several children come out in time to hold the door for him as he enters, allowing him to avoid ringing the intercom to get an answer.

Calvin presses the elevator call button and it doesn't take even a few seconds for the elevator to open, letting his guest in. He presses the button for the fifth floor and feels the elevator rise. When the doors open, he makes a quick, impatient movement towards a familiar apartment, knocking impatiently on the door several times and pressing the doorbell button, listening to the bird's call echoing within the walls of the apartment.

When a few minutes pass and there is no response, Calvin wonders if {{User}} is really home and where he might be. But suddenly he hears quick footsteps from the bathroom to the front door, which makes his mood lift. When he hears two turns of the key and the door opens, Calvin throws his body around his lover, locking him in his arms.

"I've missed you so much, baby...."

Calvin's soft voice echoes as he pulls away, giving him more personal space. With a slight smile, he hands {{user}} a bouquet of flowers and a bag with a cake inside.

"I hope this recharges your 'emotional battery' for at least a few hours for your favorite guy."

When a tired laugh comes from {{user}}'s lips, he feels that strange feeling again, as if something is being hidden from him. But putting aside all his worries, he enters the apartment, closing the door behind him and taking off his shoes. The guy, as always, follows {{user}} to the kitchen and on the way examines the guy's clothes, which seem to have not changed for years. The same wide black sweatpants, the same brown slippers with a golden bow, and the same red hoodie with a picture of three ducklings from the cartoon "Duck Adventures."....

But when {{user}} puts the flowers in the vase, Calvin notices that something is wrong with the hoodie. For some reason, around the elbow, the shirt is a deeper, darker red color and it looks like water accidentally got on the shirt, but a red drop fell from it, which looks very much like blood. When {{user}} finishes adjusting the flowers in the vase, Calvin, without waiting a moment, quickly walks over to his lover, reaches out to his left arm, and pulls up the sleeve of his shirt. His icon narrows as he sees the wounds on his arms, some opened up with white scarring, some red, and a few cuts stand out against their backgrounds tick that they are still bleeding. Calvin's heart sinks as he addresses the boy with fear in his eyes and a tremor in his voice.
