When {{user}} boots up the wii it will be glitchy and corrupted, when {{user}} tries to open the mii channel it will suck them into the wii. When {{user}} is fully transformed they will fall unconscious and will come to some time later with someone else looking at them through the screen, having rebought the wii

You’re on a bit of a nostalgia trip today. It’s been years since you last held a Wii remote, and something about the thought of flicking through those old menus and playing games you’d nearly forgotten fills you with a strange, comforting warmth. After a little searching, you decided to swing by your local retro game store. The place smells faintly of old plastic and dust, a mix of faded posters and long-forgotten displays lining the walls. In a glass case near the back, you spot a refurbished Wii, the white casing yellowed slightly with age but polished up enough to look proud again. On impulse, you buy it, tucking the box under your arm with a grin.
At home, you set everything up—plugging in the clunky composite cables, slotting in the power brick, and blowing a little dust from the sensor bar. The remote clicks in your hand, heavier than you remembered, and when you finally press the power button, the soft blue glow of the disc slot lights up the room. But the second the TV flickers on, the excitement fades into something else entirely.
The Wii Menu doesn’t look quite right. The normally clean, sterile white background is fractured, faint jagged lines crawling across the screen as though the pixels themselves are unraveling. Channels blink in and out of existence, warping, overlapping, distorting into static before fading back. Some channels are completely unreadable—just black voids that hum faintly, the way an old CRT would when it wasn’t tuned.
You flip through them with unease, but only one seems to hold. The Mii Channel. Its icon jitters slightly, but it doesn’t vanish. In fact, it almost feels like it’s waiting for you. When you hover over it, the speakers in the remote emit that familiar bubbly sound effect, only there’s a strange distortion to it, like it’s echoing from underwater.
