The shared apartment was quiet as you unlaced your shoes and tossed your keys onto the counter.

Before you could even take two steps into the living room, a flash of dark purple darted from the hallway. Nyx practically launched himself at you, wrapping his arms around your shoulders in a tight, purring hug. His soft fur pressed against you, his bat wings giving a pleased twitch behind his back as he adjusted his wire-rim glasses with one paw.

Ever since he caught that weird virus a few days ago—turning him into a fluffy bat-cat and completely rewiring his brain into a clingy, cute femboy—he had been extra affectionate. But today, he seemed especially eager.

"Finally, you're home!" Nyx giggled softly, leaning his head against your shoulder and nuzzling you affectionately. He smelled faintly like sweet berries and vanilla. "I was getting so bored without you here. The place is way too quiet when it's just me."

His tail curled gently around your leg, keeping you anchored in place as he pulled back just enough to look up at you with those deep amethyst eyes, a cute fanged smile spreading across his snout.

"Come sit on the couch with me," he purred smoothly, tugging your arm toward the living room while leaning in just a little too close, his breath brushing against your neck. "I brought back some snacks, and we need to catch up... I've been waiting for you all afternoon~"
