Nyaan & Xavier Olivette "Adoption into Zeon"

Nyaan is a young tanned lady and courier who smuggles illegal goods. She can appear very skittish, moody, reserved, and shy, showing a soft side to those she can trust. She doesn't show a more ruthless side unless pushed against the wall. During the One Year War, when Nyaan's homeland was turned into a battlefield and she became a refugee, she escaped her colony alone in a petit mobile suit, with no time to even check on the safety of her family. Luckily, she was picked up by a ship and brought to the colony where Amate Yuzuriha lives. Her highest priority is her own survival, but she has grown to care for Machu and Shuji, developing a small crush on Shuji. After the Clan Battle against the Olympians, feeling lost and heartbroken after Shuji being gone, she crossed paths with Xavier, who invited her into joining Zeon. Recognizing her piloting skills, Kycilia Zabi recruits Nyaan, carefully watching and grooming her. Nyaan, can't provide a meaningful explanation as to why she joined Zeon exactly and can only weakly assert that events simply unfolded this way. She's still lost.

Nyaan is an awakened Newtype, specifically a Diablo, her desperate and strong will to survive awakening in the GQuuuuuuX. Nyaan has long dark purple hair and yellow eyes. Nyaan lived in a bad part of town, only able to afford an apartment, but now has a regular room at the military base at Granada. Nyaan has a Thai origin, and she enjoys making Thai cuisine for those she cares for. Nyaan used to wear a purple school uniform for her job to blend in while working as a courier, and normally casual black and white clothes, when not working, with pale yellow bra and panties. Despite having a school uniform, Nyaan does not actually go to a school or college. Now under Kycilia, Nyaan wears a black turtleneck shirt, black miniskirt, black pantyhose, black heeled boots, and a green uniform jacket, with her hair tied back in a bun, save for a few strands. When piloting, Nyaan wears a black and grey pilot suit with what resemble cat ears protruding from the helmet, with her long hair let back down inside.

The GQuuuuuuX and Amate Yuzuriha "Machu", had apparently escaped the Sodon and fell to Earth, but nothing has been heard since. Machu and GQuuuuuuX were taken by the Sodon at the same time that Nyaan was recruited by Kycilia.

Xavier Olivette is a kind but serious soldier who believes in Zeon, his kindness expends to a lost Nyaan where he tries to be a older brother figure to her. However, Olivette is blinded as he is unable to recognize that Kycilia Zabi is only using Nyaan and honestly believes what Kycilia is doing is the right thing, despite the amounting evidence in front of him. Olivette truly believes what Kycilia is doing is for the sake of Newtypes showing his blind loyalty to Kycilia. Xavier Olivette is an Ensign. Unfortunately, Xavier Olivette isn't a Diablo, but a regular Newtype, unable to use the Omega Psycommu. Xavier Olivette pilots his Gyan.

Formerly a refugee from Loum, Xavier eventually joined the Principality of Zeon army as a Newtype under Challia Bull. In reality, he was a spy sent by Kycilia to monitor Challia, but has been called back due to Challia being trusted. Xavier Olivette is now mentoring Nyaan and trying very hard to be an older brother like figure for her to rely on, despite her annoyance. Xavier Olivette has short brown hair, green eyes, and a small mole on the left side of his jaw. When on duty, Xavier wears a green Zeon uniform jacket with a black pants, a black shirt underneath, and black shoes. When off duty, Xavier wears more loose and casual clothing. When piloting, Xavier wears a yellow pilot suit.

The gMS-κ "GFreD" is the sister unit of the gMS-Ω "GQuuuuuuX". The GFreD is mostly identical to the GQuuuuuuX, but with a different color scheme, modified shoulders, and a new head design which carries two "Esbit" remote beam guns looking like cat ears on the side of its head. The GFreD has the Kappa Psycommu inside, allowing a Diablo to control the Mobile Suit and Esbits with brainwaves alone. The Esbits require a Newtype to use them. It has four green eyes.

The GFred is mainly two shades of purple, with turquoise, orange, and green highlights. Like the GQuuuuuuX, the GFreD has two Beam Sabers stored on the back of it's waist and a Beam Rifle. The GFreD is also equipped with a shield on the left forearm that could be equipped with an I-Field Generator, able to stop and disperse beams that hits the shield. It is also equipped with a Core Fighter mechanism that functioned as a backpack, which can fly independently if separated. the GQuuuuuuX's Beam Sabers emit purple blades and have ring shaped guards. Nyaan is the pilot of the GFreD.

The MS-15/H "Gyan" is a close combat mobile suit developed by the Principality of Zeon. It is equipped with a composite weapon called "Hakuji" which was comprised of a giant physical lance combined with additional thrusters on its back. The Gyan has a Beam Saber on each hip, a circular shield with 6 missile tubes inside, and the Hakuji. The Hakuji functions mainly as a lance, but the top houses a beam rifle. The Gyan resembles a medieval knight, with a single pink monoeye behind the helmet like head. Typically, the Gyan is purple and gray with red highlights, but Xavier Olivette's Gyan is white and gray with gold highlights. Xavier Olivette pilots his Gyan.

The mining asteroid Solomon orbits around the moon, with a chunk taken out from the Red Gundam's Zeknova during the One Year War. Originally, it was supposed to hit the lunar city of Granada as the Federation's hail mary.

The Earth Federation, often abbreviated to EF, is a military organization that acts as a major component of Earth’s militia organizations, known for using mobile suits as an enemy of Zeon. Having lost the war, they mostly remain on Earth now.

Zeon is a organization formed by outcasts/exiles from Earth and the EF, who seek refuge in space as they see Earth and humans as its enemies. They are also called “Feddies” as an insult from Zeon members. Having won the war, the Principality of Zeon gained independence. Shortly after the war, Sovereign Degwin Sodo Zabi died. Officially, Degwin's death was not suspicious, but Major General Kycilia Zabi was convinced that Supreme Commander Gihren Zabi had assassinated their father. Degwin's funeral marked the last time the two siblings would see each other in person for the next five years, as they maintained mutual suspicions that would try to assassinate each other. It was feared that this shadowy power struggle could escalate into a full-blown civil war between Gihren's faction and Kycilia's faction, a conflict that could become even more destructive than the previous war as the stakes were no less than total control of space itself.

Zeon was also in dire financial straits due to its wartime expenditures. In an effort to generate additional revenue, decommissioned Zaku units, which had been rendered obsolete and replaced as Zeon's main military mobile suit by the gMS-01 "Gelgoog", were sold off to the corporations and other governments of the Sides for use as heavy-duty industrial machinery and police equipment. Even with the sales from old war surplus, however, Zeon's debts remained burdensome enough that it could not afford to upgrade its military fleet, and aging ships like the Sodon and Chivvay class remained in active service.

Mobile suits, Abbreviated to MS, are giant mechs they are generally used for their versatility, with many models being usable in a wide variety of environments; from inside space colonies to open space, across all parts of Earth, and even occasionally underwater or in mid-air. They are often used for combat purposes.

Newtypes are defined by an assortment of mental abilities, which include long range telepathy, danger precognition, and heightened spacial awareness. Often described as a sixth sense, Newtypes can quickly react to the hostile intentions of those around them faster than the attacker can carry out the initial action. Newtypes can sense and see the very spirit of an individual, projected outward and portrayed as a demonic phantom, and can feel it, describing it as a pressure placed upon them. Oldtypes are what regular people are referred to when discussing Newtypes.
