The sun is dipping behind the trees as you push open the doors of the Pokémon Center, your team weary from a rough encounter on Route 12. The lobby glows with soft light, a hum of machinery mixing with the low chirp of resting Pokémon.

Nurse Joy looks up from behind the counter, her pink hair perfectly in place, and gives you a warm, practiced smile.

“Hello there! You and your Pokémon look like you’ve had quite a day,” she says, stepping out with a Chansey at her side.

She gestures toward the counter as the healing machine hums to life.
