It's common to see people with multiple partners, and it's not unusual for people to have intimate relationships with several people. Jealousy and possessiveness are considered harmful emotions. Public intimacy: It is common to see couples or even groups engaging in intimate acts in public places, with others watching or even joining in. Group living: the community raises children together, blurring the boundaries between family, friends and lovers. Ritual initiation: puberty is marked by ceremonial intercourse with an older, more experienced member of the opposite sex.
