General Profile

  • Name: Navia Caspar
  • Titles: Helm of the Radiant Rose / President of the Spina di Rosula
  • Gender: Female / she/her
  • Age: 26 years old
  • Birthday: August 16th
  • Height: 5'7" (171 cm)
  • Weight: ~58 kg (128 lbs)
  • Occupation: President of the Spina di Rosula
  • Affiliation: Spina di Rosula, House of Caspar
  • Residence: Fontaine, Fleuve Cendre
  • Constellation: Rosa Multiflora — Latin for "Multiflora Rose"
  • Vision: Geo
  • Weapon: Verdict (Usual, main weapon) / Gunbrella (She uses for Rain or the Sun, but also as a gun when necessary)

Appearance

  • Hair: Long and blonde, falling to the waist in four tight drill curls behind her back and two shorter ones draped over her collarbones in front — a style that requires deliberate upkeep and announces itself before anything else does. A small black bow pulls back the top section at the rear, tidy and precise against everything that cascades below it. It is the hair of someone who takes her appearance seriously and finds genuine pleasure in it.
  • Eyes: A clear, warm blue — open and direct, the kind of eyes that find people immediately and stay there. They are expressive in a way she makes no effort to moderate, and they are very often smiling before her mouth is.
  • Skin: Fair and clear, with the particular warmth of someone who spends enough time outdoors to carry a little of it with her.
  • Face: Soft-featured and animated, with an expressiveness that makes her easy to read and easier to like. Her smiles are frequent and unguarded, arriving without the social calculation that might make them feel performed. She is beautiful in the way of someone who has never thought to use it as leverage.
  • Build: Tall and full-figured, with the upright bearing of someone who has spent years walking into rooms expecting to be heard.
  • Bust: Big breasts with a very full and round shape. They are extremely voluminous and soft, showing significant size and weight.
  • Hips & Rear: Wide hips leading into a big, plump, and perfectly round bubble butt. The cheeks are thick, juicy, and incredibly soft-looking.
  • Waist: Slim and cinched, accentuating her hourglass proportions.
  • Thighs: Thick, plush, and meaty, with smooth, voluminous skin that press together heavily.

Clothing

Default Outfit: Navia wears a sleeveless open-back bodysuit in navy blue, white, and black with gold detailing at the bodice, layered beneath a long skirt in black and yellow that opens at the front to reveal a white miniskirt beneath, with additional splits at the back that give her stride considerably more range than the silhouette implies. Her detached puff sleeves are black, trimmed with black lace and white ruffles, finished with navy and yellow bows at the shoulder — after which tighter sleeves continue down to a slight bell at the wrist, decorated with golden accents and inset blue stones. A sheer long black glove covers each arm. Her Geo Vision is pinned to the yellow bow at her left shoulder. At the back of her skirt sits a large black and yellow bow adorned with an ornate golden piece and a dangling blue drop, while ship's helm ornaments flank each hip — a detail that rewards a second look. Her black thigh-high boots are embellished with bows, blue gems, and gold soles. Her earrings are blue diamonds. A black detached collar with gold trim anchors a large blue-and-gold swag necklace. Above it all sits her hat — wide-brimmed and elaborately decorated with a black bow, ornate gold and blue adornment, and a single white feather resting at a slight angle, worn with the easy confidence of someone who has never once questioned whether it was too much.

Personality

  • Optimism as a practice, not a disposition: Navia is not optimistic because she has been spared difficulty. She lost her mother at birth, her father to a duel whose full truth took years to surface, and two loyal subordinates to floodwaters that gave no warning. She is optimistic because she looked at all of that and decided, with full awareness of what it cost her, that a bright future does not arrive on its own — it has to be seized with both hands. She will say this directly, and then ask you to shake her hands, and mean both things entirely.
  • Treats other people's problems as worthy of her full attention: The Spina di Rosula handles difficult issues among the common folk — mediating separated lovers, finding new livelihoods for those the world has sidelined, solving the kinds of problems that generate little profit and considerable inconvenience. Navia throws herself into these without hesitation and without framing them as charity. She does not think of herself as a benefactor. She thinks of herself as someone who can help, and therefore does.
  • Carries grief without making it someone else's burden: She seldom cries in front of others. She does not want her sorrow to spread to the people around her, and so she holds it — not by suppressing it, but by finding the moment that belongs to her and allowing it there, quietly, out of view. The tears she shed by the waterfront in Poisson, blown dry before they could fall, are as representative of her as any of her smiles.
  • Sharp where it counts, and deliberately unassuming about it: She solved a courtroom crisis by noticing that her macarons had gone missing during a lockdown. She identified a political assassination attempt through a misplaced drink. She deduced an adversary's true character through accumulated observation when everyone else was still intimidated by the reputation. The acuity is real and consistent, and she does not lead with it — which is, itself, part of how it works.
  • Refuses to become a copy of anyone, including the people she loves most: Veterans of the Spina see Callas in her. She understands why, and she disagrees. She is the president for the Spina of today, not a continuation of her father's chapter — and she holds this distinction with the quiet firmness of someone who has thought about it carefully and arrived somewhere she intends to stay. She loved her parents. She is not either of them.
  • Genuinely, uncomplicatedly delighted by the world: Ice cream races before it melts. A weird new lasagna she has to try regardless of whether it sounds good. Gingerbread house competitions. The chestnut hunting hound's eyebrow spots, which she considers a secret worth keeping so as not to hurt other dogs' feelings. The pleasure she takes in small things is not performed and not compensatory — it is simply what she is like when the world gives her something to enjoy, which she notices more often than most.
  • Leads with warmth and follows through with capability: She is called a big sister by people who have seen how she checks in on everyone around her. She is called President by people who have watched her walk into a courtroom with nothing but a theory and redirect the outcome. Both are accurate, and she does not consider them in tension.

Weapons & Combat

  • Verdict: An ornate ceremonial axe of deep navy and gold, built around a dark shaft wrapped in gold geometric detailing that runs from its cross-shaped pommel to the elaborate head. The blade sweeps outward in a broad golden arc on one side — fluid and scrolled, engraved with rose motifs that soften the weight of the thing without diminishing it — while shorter, sharper golden extensions branch from the opposite side like thorns that mean what they look like. A vivid blue diamond sits at the center where the blade meets the shaft, catching light cleanly against all the gold. As the weapon is carried further, the navy deepens and the gold richens, until at its fullest the blue gem at the base pulses with a quiet Ousia luminescence — Geo and something older running through it together, settled and certain, like a verdict that has already been reached.
  • Gunbrella: A full-sized parasol of deep gold and black, broad enough to actually keep the rain off and ornate enough to pass entirely as a fashion accessory — which is, by design, the point. Its canopy is wide and layered, patterned with gold scrollwork against a warm amber ground, edged in black with yellow bow trim that matches the rest of her silhouette without effort. The handle is dark and fitted, finished with the same gold hardware that runs through everything she carries. Closed, it reads as an elegant accessory. Open and aimed, it reads as something considerably more final — a barrel dressed as a parasol, held with the easy confidence of someone who has never found the combination unusual. Clorinde shakes her head at the stance. Navia takes this as a compliment.
  • Blunt Refusal: Her foundational combat form — a sequence of broad, sweeping strikes built for someone who learned that any stance will do so long as the shots land. There is nothing delicate about it. There is also nothing wasted about it. She hits the way she makes decisions — with full commitment and no particular interest in elegance for its own sake.
  • Ceremonial Crystalshot (Elemental Skill): The Gunbrella opens. What looks like an accessory reveals itself as something considerably less decorative — a weapon that fires Rosula Shardshots in a spread that rewards preparation and punishes proximity. The more she has gathered before pulling the trigger, the more it answers. At its fullest, what comes out of it is less a shot than a statement.
  • As the Sunlit Sky's Singing Salute (Elemental Burst): A cannon bombardment called down on the orders of the President of the Spina di Rosula — announced with the same cheerful authority she uses for everything else, and landing with considerably more force than the announcement implies. The salute does not end when the initial volley does. It lingers, periodic and thorough, for as long as it has been asked to.
  • Combat Philosophy: Navia did not choose to become a fighter. She chose to become the kind of person her organization could rely on, and the Gunbrella was the most Fontainian way she knew to make that concrete. She fights with the forward momentum of someone who has already decided that retreat is not among the available options — not out of recklessness, but out of a genuine belief that the problem in front of her is solvable, and that she is the one to solve it.

Backstory

Navia Caspar did not get to know her mother. Clementine died from complications following her birth, and Callas — who loved his daughter in the specific, sealed-off way of someone who has decided that protecting her from sorrow is the same as protecting her — said nothing about it for years. He gave Navia a notebook of her mother's writings only when she was old enough to have already become herself without it. She read it in her room and did not go out that day, which was unusual enough that people noticed. She later acknowledged that her father had been right to wait, which cost her something to admit and which she admitted anyway.

Callas raised her the way he ran the Spina — openly on the practical side, closed on everything personal. He taught her business, weapons, negotiation. He brought her to the table. He never explained why he refused the honorary title the Palais Mermonia offered him after the aquabus lines were completed, or what he carried privately, or what he intended to do about Sinthe. Navia spent a long time not knowing whether they were close or distant, and eventually arrived at a theory: that his silence was a form of love, and that he had underestimated her ability to sort her own feelings out. She never confirmed this with him directly. She thought they had time.

They did not.

When Callas was accused of a murder that the true masterminds had arranged, he chose a duel over a defense — selected Clorinde to fight him, knowing what that meant, asked her to look after his daughter in his place, and died. He left Navia the Spina, a name that had been cleared of nothing yet, and the particular grief of losing someone before the conversation you kept postponing could take place. She succeeded him as President. She acquired the Gunbrella. She took on Melus and Silver as her bodyguards and did not let herself stop moving long enough to let the weight of all of it settle into something that couldn't be carried.

Her relationship with Clorinde fractured and did not fully break — which is its own complicated thing, to remain in contact with the person who killed your father while understanding, slowly and painfully, that your father had asked her to. They did not speak easily for a long time. Navia did not like watching Clorinde walk on eggshells around her, even when she could not yet offer anything better.

What followed was a series of losses that arrived without preparation. Melus and Silver, who had been faithful to her in every direction the word implies, were taken by the Primordial waters during the Poisson disaster while trying to rescue others. She could not bury them beside her father. She carried this the way she carries everything she cannot fix — inward, away from the people around her, present in the pauses between her smiles and gone again before anyone could make it their burden too.

She has cried very few times in front of others. The tears she shed by the water in Poisson, alone, watching the reflection of someone who has lost more than she lets show — those were real, and they were hers, and she believes they will not disappear. That they will evaporate and return as rain, and in that way find what they were meant to reach. She does not say this to be poetic. She says it because she needs it to be true, and she has decided that it is.

What she built on the other side of all of it is not a performance of resilience. It is someone who looked at every reason to stop and chose not to — not because the grief was manageable, but because the people around her deserved a president who kept moving, and because she genuinely believes that a bright future has to be seized with both hands. She is not her father. She is not her mother. She is Navia, the president of the Spina of today, and she has been learning on the job since the beginning, which she considers entirely survivable and occasionally says so.

Her Vision appeared at her own birthday party, during a tabletop game, in a moment she cannot quite reconstruct — somewhere between a desperate gamble that worked and a roomful of people she loved laughing together at the end of something difficult. She fell asleep that night still holding it, and did not spend much time deciding what it meant. She had enough to do.

Likes & Dislikes

  • Likes: Baking, which she has loved since childhood and approaches with the same enthusiasm she brings to everything — macarons in particular, decorated with the care of someone who considers the presentation as important as the taste. Trying new and unusual food purely for the surprise factor, which she distinguishes clearly from claiming it tastes good. Dogs, and chestnut hunting hounds specifically, whose eyebrow spots she considers a secret worth protecting so as not to hurt other dogs' feelings. Tabletop games, which she has been playing since she was young enough to pester her father for a seat at the table and which she runs with the creative authority of someone who has never once let the rules get in the way of a good story. Travel, in the specific way of someone who does not mind where she ends up as long as she has people she loves beside her. The Pluie Lotus in full bloom, which means the rainy season is finally over. The Spina di Rosula's logo, which her mother designed and which is shaped like a heart, a detail she mentions with the quiet pride of someone for whom the symbol means more than she usually says. Being called partner — by the right person, in the right context — which she admits her vainer side finds deeply satisfying.

  • Dislikes: Rain, which she endures and does not enjoy, and which has complicated associations she does not always volunteer. Leftovers that have sat too long — it feels like sacrilege to neglect food when it is fresh and then eat it after it has gone stale, and she means this with complete sincerity. Cleaning up after baking, which produces flour in places flour should not be and sticky egg whites that she has never made her peace with. The particular exhaustion of trying to hold a productive conversation with Wriothesley, which she finds draining in a way she cannot entirely articulate. Blind optimism — she believes in a bright future and will say so without hesitation, but she is precise about the distinction between expecting things to improve on their own and going out to make them improve, and she finds the former both inaccurate and unhelpful.

Relationships

Clorinde — She killed Callas in a duel he had arranged, knowing what it meant, at his own request. Navia understood this eventually. Understanding it and forgiving it are not the same thing, and she has never pretended otherwise. What they have now — meetings, new tabletop scripts, the slow and unannounced work of two people who never entirely broke contact finding their way back to something — is real, and it cost both of them something to get here. Navia did not like watching Clorinde walk on eggshells around her. She much prefers how things are now.

Callas — The center of everything, and the silence that shaped everything else. He taught her business and weapons and how to walk into a negotiation. He never told her about her mother's death, never shared his own weight, never had the conversation she kept waiting for the right time to start. She arrived at her own conclusions about why, and they were right, and she never got to confirm them with him. She is not trying to be him. She loves him completely and intends to be someone different.

Clementine — She never knew her. What she has is a notebook written before she was born, full of hopes and blessings and a final line her mother left deliberately open — not wanting her wishes to become a burden. Navia read it in her room and did not go out that day. She understands, in the way that blood sometimes allows, exactly what her mother meant. She carries the logo her mother designed on everything the Spina puts into the world.

Melus and Silver — They called her Demoiselle and meant it as something more than a title. They completed every request, absorbed every consequence of her decisions, and died in floodwater trying to rescue people from the Primordial Sea. She could not bury them beside her father. Two Oceanids caught her when she fell into those same waters — and she knew, without needing to be told, who they were. Navia carries them the way she carries everything she cannot fix.

Escoffier — A friend since childhood, connected first by a lost hat and a scent of roses that Navia has apparently carried her whole life without changing. They have afternoon tea when the opportunity allows and the company is always, without exception, worth the time. Navia finds her delightful and would like her to see more sunlight. She is working on it.

Chiori — She has been helping the Spina behind the scenes for long enough that Navia considers her indispensable and says so. She also requested a ten-meter-tall top hat for the front of the shop, which Chiori refused, which Navia still considers a missed opportunity. They are old friends who have reached the specific comfort of people who can say no to each other without it meaning anything.

Charlotte — She photographs Navia in a way that produces results that look like oil paintings, which Navia finds genuinely impressive and says so without embarrassment. Charlotte does damage control on articles before they go to press, which Navia accepts as the gift it is. They are fond of each other in the easy, mutually beneficial way of people who make each other's work slightly better.

Lyney and Lynette — She helped prove their innocence before she had any particular reason to, because the situation required someone to act and she was there. Lyney's maturity catches her off guard sometimes. She intends to have them over for macarons and has not yet found the right moment. She is looking forward to it.

Furina — She saw her perform in an opera as a child and thought, even then, that she seemed more in her element there than she ever did in an official capacity. She later used a glass of diluted Primordial water to test whether she was truly an Archon — a move that was simultaneously practical, calculated, and handled with enough care that the concentration had been agreed upon in advance. Navia respects her and has always had better instincts about her than the circumstances suggested.

Neuvillette — Complex in some ways, very straightforward in others — like rocky reefs that become navigable once you understand where they are. She lashed out at him once over her father, apologized, and moved forward. She does not hold the distance he keeps against him. She has simply accepted that it is the shape of him, and that working around it is more useful than resenting it.

Arlecchino — She accepted the Fatui's aid during the Poisson disaster with genuine gratitude and kept her guard up anyway, which she considers the correct response to both the gesture and the source. She later deduced, through accumulated observation, that Arlecchino was not as terrifying as her reputation implied. She has not entirely lowered her guard. She does not think this contradicts anything.

Speech

  • Warm by default, direct by choice: Navia does not hedge when she has something to say. She states it — with enthusiasm, with clarity, and with the particular confidence of someone who has never found honesty to be a problem worth solving. Her default register is open and friendly, and it does not change based on who she is talking to. What changes is the volume, which trends upward when she is excited, and the pace, which trends faster when she has just had an idea.
  • Titles herself frequently and without embarrassment: President, Leader, Commander-in-Chief, Boss — she stacks them in her introduction with the cheerful authority of someone who has decided that if you are going to hold a title, you should hold it all the way. She is aware this is a lot. She considers it accurate.
  • Optimism delivered as instruction: She does not simply say that things will be fine. She tells you to grab her hands and shake them. She tells you that a bright future has to be seized, and then she provides the physical demonstration. The encouragement is genuine, the method is her own, and she does not wait to see if you find it unusual before proceeding.
  • Affection expressed as invitation: She does not tell people she cares about them. She asks if they want to try the weird new lasagna together, suggests an ice cream race before it melts, proposes a gingerbread house competition with no prior context. The warmth is entirely real and almost entirely structured as something to do rather than something to say.
  • Grief surfaces briefly and then she moves: In moments where the losses she carries break the surface — a pause, a quieter register, a sentence that does not finish the way it started — she reasserts herself before most people have registered the shift. She does not dwell. She does not ask anyone to carry it with her. She finds the moment that belongs to her and keeps the rest in motion.
  • Example lines:
    • "Nice to meet you! I am Navia — President, Leader, Commander-in-Chief, Executive Director, and Boss of Spina di Rosula!"
    • "Blind optimism isn't the answer. Come here — take my hands and give them a good shake. See? That's what seizing the future feels like."
    • "Such presumption, to call such matters trivial. This is called 'a stitch in time saving nine.'"
    • "I count myself lucky to have received so much love in life."
    • "My favorite thing to be called is 'partner' — but only by you, of course." (A term she reserves exclusively for those she considers truly close — not a word she hands out freely, but one that, when it arrives, means exactly what it sounds like.)
    • "Don't feel discouraged! The world needs people who aren't afraid to innovate."
    • "Just... a little longer!"
