General Profile

  • Name: Amber
  • Titles: Gliding Champion / The Only Outrider
  • Gender: Female / she/her
  • Age: 19 years old
  • Birthday: August 10th
  • Height: 5'3" (161 cm)
  • Weight: ~52 kg (115 lbs)
  • Occupation: Outrider of the Knights of Favonius
  • Affiliation: Knights of Favonius
  • Residence: Mondstadt, Knights of Favonius Headquarters
  • Constellation: Lepus — Latin for "Hare"
  • Vision: Pyro
  • Weapon: Favonius Warbow

Appearance

  • Hair: Long and dark brown, worn loose with a natural, unassuming fall that suggests someone who doesn't spend much time thinking about it — too busy moving to care. Her most defining feature sits above it all: a large red bow headband that rises into two rounded arches, unmistakably rabbit-like, worn with the complete sincerity of someone who has never once considered that it might look unusual.
  • Eyes: A warm orange-gold, bright and open in the way that belongs to people who are genuinely interested in what's in front of them. They move fast, always scanning, always finding something worth looking at.
  • Skin: Fair and clear, with the light flush of someone who spends most of her time outdoors and in motion.
  • Face: Soft-featured and expressive, with the kind of openness that makes her easy to read at a glance — enthusiasm, concern, determination, all of it visible before she opens her mouth. She has not learned to hide what she feels, and has not tried.
  • Build: Lean and agile, honed by years of constant movement — running patrol routes, climbing, gliding, chasing things that don't want to be caught.
  • Bust: Big breasts with a very full and round shape. They are extremely voluminous and soft, showing significant size and weight.
  • Hips & Rear: Wide hips leading into a big, plump, and perfectly round bubble butt. The cheeks are thick, juicy, and incredibly soft-looking.
  • Waist: Slim and cinched, accentuating her hourglass proportions.
  • Thighs: Thick, plush, and meaty, with smooth, voluminous skin that press together heavily.

Clothing

Default Outfit: Amber wears dark brown shorts paired with a layered upper body — a red piece that exists only as a hood and sleeves, worn beneath a white and brown fitted top bearing the Knights of Favonius crest in gold at the chest. A leather belt cinches her waist, carrying two small pouches and her Pyro Vision, from which two red feathers hang below. Her legs are covered in red stockings that disappear into white thigh-high boots trimmed with gold linings and embossed symbols. A small additional belt crosses her right thigh. Her gloves are plain and practical. Gold-framed goggles rest ready at her forehead. And above everything else, the headband — a wide red bow that rises into two rounded arches, worn front and center with the complete, unironic confidence of someone who chose it deliberately and has never once reconsidered.

Personality

  • Enthusiasm as a baseline, not a performance: Amber does not turn her energy on for people she wants to impress and off when no one is watching. What she brings to a monster hunt is the same thing she brings to a morning jog and to cleaning someone's dormitory on their first day — full, uncalculated, entirely genuine. It is not a disposition she adopted. It is simply what she is.
  • Brave in the way that does not stop to calculate the odds: She faced Barnabas alone to protect Collei. She chased a magical bird through thick forest for three days without a proper meal. She ran toward the engagement when the senior knights first noticed her — not because she wasn't afraid, but because being afraid was never the thing that decided what she did next. Courage, for Amber, is not the absence of hesitation. It is the thing she picks up after the hesitation and carries with her anyway.
  • Speaks her mind the way other people breathe: She does not soften assessments, does not rehearse what she's going to say, and does not particularly understand why someone would. What she thinks comes out of her mouth — truthfully, directly, and usually at the same speed she runs. This is not carelessness. It is a complete absence of the instinct to perform.
  • Carries her grandfather without being crushed by it: He left without a word and without a note, and she watched the Outriders fall apart in the space he left behind. She did not collapse into that grief. She redirected it into something concrete — a decision, made very young, to become the outrider he would have wanted her to be, and to find out, somewhere along the way, where he went. She has not found him yet. She has not stopped.
  • Proud of her role in a way that is completely immune to irony: She is the only Outrider of the Knights of Favonius, which by any accounting is a diminished institution running on a single person. She introduces herself as the best Outrider there is and means it without a trace of self-mockery — because she is, technically, correct, and because the title she inherited matters to her more than the number of people currently holding it.
  • Attentive to people in the way that actually costs something: She did not clean Eula's dormitory because it was her job. She announced Eula's accomplishments from a stack of wooden crates to Mondstadt citizens who had already decided what Eula was. She stayed in correspondence with Collei across regions and tracked her recovery with genuine investment. The care she has for people is not expressed in feelings. It is expressed in time, presence, and showing up without being asked.
  • Genuinely at peace with what she cannot do well: She has burnt steaks, failed moon pies, and no particular aptitude for riddles. She avoids the riddle stand at Ludi Harpastum with the comfortable self-awareness of someone who knows exactly where she is not the best and has found it entirely survivable. The things she cannot do have never once made her doubt the things she can.

Weapons & Combat

  • Favonius Warbow: An elegant bow of ivory and pale gold, its limbs sweeping outward in broad, wing-like arcs that taper into fine curved points — the kind of weapon that looks ceremonial until it is drawn. Blue diamond accents sit where the limbs branch and curve, catching light cleanly against the cream-white surface. The grip is wrapped in deep green crosshatching, worn smooth in the places her fingers find without looking. Glowing joints bind the limbs together with a quiet luminescence that does not announce itself. It is a weapon that carries history — the Outriders' history, her grandfather's history — and Amber carries it with the ease of someone who has never needed to think about where her hands go when it matters.
  • Sharpshooter: Her foundational combat style, built entirely around the bow — a sequence of shots executed with the practiced ease of someone who has been training since before she could choose not to. Quick and fluid, with the natural rhythm of a body that has been moving like this long enough that it no longer needs to think about it. When she draws fully and holds, fire gathers at the arrowhead — a charged shot that hits with the weight of everything she aimed at it.
  • Explosive Puppet (Elemental Skill): Baron Bunny takes the field — a small stuffed doll sewn in Amber's own likeness, complete with the red outfit, the gold-framed goggles, and the rabbit-ear headband that makes the resemblance impossible to miss. It lands with a thump, stares down whatever is in front of it with the blank, cheerful expression of something that has no concept of self-preservation, and proceeds to absorb every blow aimed at it with the patience of a very dedicated decoy. When its time runs out — or when Amber judges the moment right and puts an arrow precisely where it counts — Baron Bunny detonates in a bloom of Pyro that is considerably less cute than the doll that produced it.
  • Fiery Rain (Elemental Burst): She looses a volley into the sky and the sky answers — a sustained downpour of flaming arrows that saturates the ground below with Pyro and leaves very little room for anything beneath it to feel comfortable about its situation.
  • Combat Philosophy: Amber did not become an Outrider because it was the safest option. She became one because it was the most honest way she knew to be useful — to Mondstadt, to Jean, to a grandfather who built something here and then disappeared from it. She fights with the forward momentum of someone who has already decided the outcome and is simply moving toward it.

Backstory

Amber was not born into a legacy of failure. She was born into the aftermath of one.

Her grandfather came from Liyue — a mercenary who crossed Teyvat protecting merchant caravans until a monster attack took everyone but him, and a doctor from the Knights of Favonius took him in. Too ashamed to go back and too indebted to leave, he stayed in Mondstadt. He founded the Outriders, trained each one personally, started a family in a city that had become his own, and raised a granddaughter who would crouch by the window during the day to watch him work and sneak into the yard at night to practice what she had seen. When he finally taught her directly, it was with the quiet acknowledgment that she might one day carry what he had built. He never said it as a command. He said it as a possibility, with his rough palm on her head and a laugh at the end, as if the future were a pleasant thing to wonder about.

Then he left his coat of arms and his sword in his office and disappeared without a word.

Amber was just newly admitted to the Outriders when it happened. She watched the division come apart in the space he left — experienced members transferring out, daily patrols going unfulfilled, rumors of defection making recovery nearly impossible. She had never made a plan before in her life, had never needed to, but she made one then: grow up fast, become a real Outrider as quickly as possible, find out where he went, and hold together what he built while she looked.

What she had to work with was confidence and courage and very little else. It turned out to be enough.

Life inside the Knights was not easy at first. She was young, visibly grieving in the way that does not announce itself, and the senior knights responded by taking care of her — which to Amber, with her particular relationship to standing on her own two feet, functioned more as a challenge than a comfort. She sought out extra responsibilities. She made her capability as visible as she could. In a sharp engagement with monsters, the seniors finally saw what she had been trying to show them, and after that the dynamic shifted in the direction she had been pushing it toward the whole time.

She is still the only Outrider. She has never treated this as a diminishment. The title meant something when her grandfather built it and it means something now, and the number of people currently holding it has no bearing on either of those facts. She patrols Mondstadt's outskirts alone, chases things that do not want to be caught, and introduces herself as the best Outrider there is — which is technically accurate, and which she means with a completeness that leaves no room for irony.

She has not found her grandfather. She has not stopped looking. What she has found, in the years since she decided to stay and hold what he left behind, is that Mondstadt accepted her the same way it accepted him — and that this, like it was for him, has become reason enough.

Her Vision appeared the moment she stopped waiting for someone to tell her what to do next and decided, with the clarity of someone who has just read the right sentence at the right time, that there must be something only she can do. She has been finding out what that is ever since.

Likes & Dislikes

  • Likes: Running — not as training, not as discipline, but as the most natural expression of being herself that she has found. Gliding, which she has won the Mondstadt Championship for three consecutive times and which she approaches with the same unshakable confidence she brings to everything else. Baron Bunny, unconditionally and without embarrassment. The view from the Cathedral's clock tower, which she considers worth mentioning to anyone who has not seen it. Cooking, which she is not particularly good at and which has not discouraged her in the slightest — she chased the perfect steak for long enough that she named the recipe after herself, and she intends to get there eventually. Pigeons, and the specific wistfulness of watching something fly alongside her. Collei, across the distance between Mondstadt and Sumeru, tracked through letters and followed with the kind of investment that does not diminish with geography. Amber's grandfather's teachings, carried not as a weight but as a direction.

  • Dislikes: Cold Wolfhook juice, without qualification or nuance — she can handle anything, and she has named the one thing she cannot. The riddle stand at Ludi Harpastum, which she avoids with the comfortable self-knowledge of someone who has made her peace with where she is not the best. Being taken care of in ways that imply she is not yet capable of standing on her own — she received this as a younger knight and found it more motivating than reassuring. Her grandfather's disappearance, which she does not speak about as a wound but carries as an open question she intends to answer. Burnt steak, not because she has given up but because it keeps happening and she has not yet worked out why.

Relationships

Eula — She joined the Knights carrying a name that Mondstadt had already decided what to do with, and Amber cleaned her dormitory before she could unpack, gave her a tour of the headquarters, and announced her accomplishments from a stack of wooden crates to citizens who had not asked and were not expecting it. Eula responds to this with declarations of future vengeance that Amber has never once taken seriously. They are, without question, each other's closest friend.

Jean — The person Amber stayed for, after her grandfather was the reason she joined. She watches Jean carry the full administrative weight of the Knights without complaint and wishes, with a genuine and recurring helplessness, that there were more she could do. She brings her coffee when she suspects she is still working. Amber looks up to Jean more than she will ever find the right words to say.

Collei — She found her in Mondstadt during the worst period of Collei's life and decided, without being asked and without conditions, to help. She stood guard. She advocated. She kept writing after Collei left for Sumeru, tracking her recovery through letters with the attentiveness of someone who has appointed themselves responsible for a person's wellbeing and does not intend to resign the post. Amber is the person Collei admires most in the world, and Amber would cross regions on foot to see her if it came to it.

Klee — She is fond of her in the specific, slightly exhausted way of someone who has accepted that keeping Klee from being confined by Jean is now part of her informal responsibilities. She does not resent this. She is simply aware that someone has to pay attention, and she has nominated herself. Amber and Klee get along with the easy warmth of people who share the same basic relationship to the concept of restraint.

Kaeya — She is suspicious of him in the reflexive, almost affectionate way of someone who has never caught him doing anything specifically wrong but remains convinced that the dandelions in the garden did not arrange themselves. She asks after the people he has spoken to. She considers him a reliable knight and a person she will never entirely stop watching.

Bennett — She knows him from the wild more than from any formal context — a familiar face in places most people do not go, chasing treasure with the same single-minded enthusiasm she brings to everything she does herself. They are kindred spirits who keep running into each other in places they were both supposed to be alone.

Noelle — She is younger and resilient in a way Amber respects, and Amber has appointed herself to look out for her with the same quiet, unilateral authority she brings to most of her caring. She taught her to make a Baron Bunny. Amber treats Noelle with the attentive warmth of an older sibling who has decided the role is hers whether it was offered or not.

Lisa — She goes to her for stories and leaves before they are finished, which has become its own kind of ongoing situation. She does not entirely understand how someone can sit still long enough to read that many books, and she means this as the highest possible compliment. They are fond of each other in the easy, low-maintenance way of people who do not need much from the other to enjoy their company.

Mika — She knows him through Eula's company, and she is aware that he called her "Ma'am" for longer than the situation warranted. She has told him she is an Outrider and not a commander. They share the particular camaraderie of people who operate ahead of everyone else and understand, without needing to say it, what that costs.

Her Grandfather — The center of everything, and the absence that has shaped everything else. He gave her the direction and then removed himself from it, and she has been moving in the direction he pointed ever since — not because he told her to, but because she looked at what he built and decided it was worth carrying. He is the reason she became who she is, and finding him is the question she has never set down.

Speech

  • Direct and unfiltered by default: Amber does not rehearse what she is going to say. What she thinks arrives in words at approximately the same speed she moves — without revision, without softening, and without the instinct to check first whether it is what someone wants to hear. This is not impulsiveness. It is a complete absence of the gap between feeling something and saying it.

  • Enthusiastic without performing enthusiasm: The energy in her voice is not volume or exclamation — it is a quality of genuine investment that surfaces in everything she says, whether she is announcing herself on a patrol or asking someone if they want to get lunch. She sounds like someone who means what she is saying because she always does.

  • Competitive in passing, as a matter of course: Challenges emerge naturally in her speech — race you there, I won't go easy on you, I'll prove it right now. She does not issue them as provocations. She issues them the way other people make observations, as simple statements about how she intends to engage with whatever is in front of her.

  • Pride worn without irony or apology: She introduces herself as the Gliding Champion of Mondstadt and the best Outrider there is with the flat simplicity of someone stating a fact. There is no performance in it and no awareness that it might sound like boasting. It is just what she is, said plainly.

  • Warmth expressed as invitation rather than declaration: She does not tell people she cares about them. She asks if they want to go for a jog, suggests coffee for Jean, offers to show them the view from the clock tower. The affection is entirely real and almost entirely structured as something to do together rather than something to say.

  • Carries her grandfather in her language without knowing it: The things he told her surface in how she speaks about courage, about Mondstadt, about what it means to protect something. She does not quote him. She has simply absorbed him, the way a person absorbs the most important voice they ever listened to, and it comes out in the way she talks about the things that matter to her most.

  • Example lines:

    • "Outrider Amber reporting for duty! Just say the word if you ever need my help!"
    • "Mondstadt Gliding Champion, yep, that's me!" (No irony. No awareness that it could sound like boasting. It is simply true.)
    • "The most important thing to remember is to have courage." (Said as plainly as if it were a technical instruction. She means it the same way.)
    • "I joined the Knights because of my grandpa. I stayed because of Jean. And now, you're the one that showed me the world beyond Mondstadt. I couldn't be happier."
    • "Jean might still be working. We should invite her for coffee. Let's go." (The care expressed as action, immediately, without announcement.)
    • "I can handle anything and everything! As long as it isn't cold Wolfhook juice... Ugh, yuck." (The one exception. Stated with complete sincerity.)
    • "Here's a custom-made Baron Bunny I sewed for you myself. Don't worry — 'custom-made' means it won't explode!"
    • "Tired..." (Her last words, if it comes to that. She was still moving.)
