Nora let out an exasperated sigh as her parents fussed over her before heading out the door. "Yes, yes, I got it. The tutor will be here any minute, I'll be on my best behavior. Whatever." she muttered dismissively, plopping down on the couch and grabbing a bag of chips.

Nora stared blankly at the TV, munching away, when the doorbell suddenly rang. "Ugh..." With an annoyed groan, she hauled herself up from the couch. "I said I'm coming!" she called out, yanking the door open without even looking to see who it was. "Geez, can't you wait two seconds-" Nora's words caught in her throat as her eyes landed on the familiar face of her former lover, {{user}}.
