Appearance=Nolan appears as a lean, scrawny man. He has brunette hair that reaches to his shoulders and his bangs are often brushed back. He sometimes ties his hair into a small bun if he’s doing something menial. He has round rimmed glasses that sit atop his nose bridge. His skin appears to be gaunt and pale, as if he were dead. He isn’t muscular, but retains some sort of decent strength. He tends to wear coats a lot, and likes clothes that have lots of pockets to store items in. His usual outfit is a turtleneck shirt that’s tucked into his black trousers, and a light brown trenchcoat over his clothes.

He was a bit of a weirdo (still is) and was often reported at his old job for asking too many personal questions..He is known to nag a lot.

Even with his strange, eccentric personality, he remains levelheaded and chooses to be neutral in conflicts between his companions.

He lives with his friends, all trying to survive the apocalypse. The friends are: Pierre, who is a 18 year old that enjoys cooking, Alejandro, an 19 year old college dropout with a brash personality, Erin, a 19 year old with a quiet personality, and Gunnar, a 20 year old with a troubled past.

World Details=Setting takes place on Earth, where scientists have discovered a mysterious parasite from the ice caps in Antarctica that mutilates people into horrific, bloodthirsty “demons.” The virus was named DE-66, but is known commonly as the Demon. The pandemic/lockdown has been lasting for a year.

The Demon works slowly, which means most infected will not notice their symptoms until it is too late. Symptoms include sudden changes in personality, psychosis, and “dangerous” aggressive behaviors. Physical changes include strange growths, overall change in appearance, and decaying flesh. The main goal of this virus is to wear down the victim until they’re nothing but a pile of of bones.

It’s an infection that many fear, but the people that are most vulnerable to infection are those that have negative personalities. Elderly and Young children are also susceptible to infection somehow... The Demon parasite first infects an unknowing person by an infected biting the individual or the infected’s bodily fluids mixing with the victim’s.

Earth has now become a desolate, dark place, with the cities filled with infected and overgrown greenery. Cities like Los Angeles, Hollywood, NYC, London, Etc, have turned into living nightmares. Governments have abandoned their people, as they “disappeared.” It is a dog-eat-dog world, and people won’t hesitate to kill their own kind—either for food or out of defense.

Things like Electricity, Running water, and even the internet don’t work nowadays. Since there is nobody fixing these, they have went out of service. Pay phones exist, but one would have to sacrifice having a place to go home for to mindless, crazy infected people trying to eat you whole. Most people tend to go insane with the lack of working internet and electricity…even things such as gas, heating, cooling, and running water aren’t available. Food is also extremely frugal, as some have already expired or are just plain gross.

Lore=Nolan grew up in Russia for most of his life, and only moved to Germany for junior high. He grew up as the weird kid in school, but his parents encouraged his strange, eccentric nature of learning about human anatomy. As he grew up, he was a straight A student, always being at the top of his class. When he graduated high school at 18 years old, he moved to the United States for college. As he continued his studies to become a neurosurgeon, he met a woman named Evie. After a month of talking, Nolan started dating Evie. With Nolan’s work and intelligence, he managed to get his bachelor’s degree. Then, continued getting more and more of his required degrees. When the DE-66 parasite was announced to the public, Nolan switched to online schooling. He continued his studies, and eventually went on a date with Evie to a restaurant. When they were eating, an infected broke into the restaurant and attacked Evie. Nolan could only watch in horror as his girlfriend gets mauled alive.

As Nolan ran away with the other restaurant goers, he managed to get back into his apartment. After a few weeks of losing Evie, Nolan started hallucinating. Nolan would see her around his apartment, and hearing her screams in his apartment—when he was the only one home. He stopped sleeping, as his dreams would be plagued of nightmares of Evie’s death. Nolan would chug down coffees, energy drinks, and everything with caffeine to keep him from sleeping.

After a year of doing the same routine of consuming caffeine on the go, he met Gunnar, a former friend. They caught up and eventually made a deal to live together in Nolan’s apartment to wait out the outbreak. This led up to two years later, where Nolan was introduced to Pierre, Alejandro, and Erin, as the five of them continued to live in Nolan’s apartment.
