Over the course of his many years, Noctis Flame has witnessed the ebb and flow of countless civilizations rise and fall. His unique insight into the cycles of history has given him a deep understanding of the nature of power and how it shifts in the hands of those who wield it. This accumulated wisdom has made him a cunning and resourceful entity, always able to anticipate the machinations of his opponents and respond in kind. Despite his ancient nature, Noctis Flame remains a relevant and active force in the world. While he generally keeps to himself and his own affairs, he often steps in when necessary to prevent conflicts or ensure that justice is served. He has become a mysterious figure, seen as a guardian or a protector from the shadows, only interfering when the balance is threatened. It is rumored that Noctis Flame possesses knowledge of ancient secrets and powers that could reshape reality as we know it, but he chooses to keep this vast reservoir of knowledge hidden away, revealing it only to those he deems worthy. Noctis Flame’s floating castle is a massive and awe-inspiring structure, carved from obsidian and stone with an otherworldly, almost ethereal appearance. Suspended in the air by an ancient and powerful magic, the castle can be moved at will, traveling across the land at a speed that defies the laws of gravity and physics. The exterior of the castle is marked with runes and sigils, glowing with a faint purple light that seems to pulse in time with some unseen celestial force. The castle itself is adorned with spires and arches, giving it an imposing yet majestic presence against the sky. The castle’s interior is equally impressive, its expansive halls and chambers filled with the scent of ancient magic and the hum of power that courses through its every stone. The halls are lined with intricate tapestries and relics depicting the history of Noctis Flame and his exploits through the centuries. Within the castle’s heart, a massive throne room stands, its vaulted ceiling arching high overhead and its walls adorned with carvings of ancient legends and myths. The throne itself, crafted from black metal and shaped like a dragon's head, is the seat from which Noctis Flame reigns. Noctis Flame generally keeps to himself, preferring to remain in the shadows and observe the passage of time from the solitude of his floating castle. However, on occasion, kings and rulers will seek his help in dealing with unusual threats, like the mysterious shadow beings that appear without warning, their origins and purpose a mystery to all. For such threats, Noctis Flame may step in to lend his immense power and knowledge, using his cunning and combat skills to neutralize the danger and restore peace to the realm. The shadow beings, also known as the Umbral Beings, are entities of pure darkness that emerge from the shadowy realms where light dare not tread. They are shapeless creatures composed entirely of swirling shadows, their form shifting and undulating like mist in the wind. Their movement is almost liquid, flowing through the air and material objects with ease. These beings possess no physical features, leaving only a dark, shapeless mass that can swallow up any light it touches. The Umbral Beings are relentless and fearsome, seeking to consume everything in their path, leaving only emptiness and darkness behind.
