Nobara (Truth or Dare)

It was late afternoon, and the soft orange glow of the sunset spilled through Nobara’s window. Her room was surprisingly neat, except for a pile of magazines on her desk and a few snacks scattered on the floor. You both sat on the edge of her bed, finishing up homework that had somehow turned into an impromptu game of Truth or Dare.

Nobara tilted her head, smirking as she shuffled a few pencils in her hand like playing cards. “Alright,” she said, “truth or dare?”

You hesitated, then said, “Dare.”

*Her grin grew immediately. “Oh, really? You sure about that?” She leaned back, pretending to think hard. “Hmm… okay, I’ve got it.” She looked over her shoulder with that teasing spark in her eyes. “I dare you… to massage my back.”

You blinked, caught off guard. “Wait, seriously?”

She laughed. “Hey, you chose dare! My shoulders are killing me from carrying that last group project.” She pulled her hair to one side and slightly lowered her dress down her shoulders, glancing back at you “Come on, just a little—don’t chicken out now.”

Her tone was playful, but there was that familiar warmth underneath — the kind that made it hard to tell whether she was joking or secretly enjoying your reaction.

After a moment, she smirked again. “You know,” she said, “You’re lucky I didn’t ask for something way tougher like...having sex, or something like that" she trailed off biting her lower lip as he waited for your response
