Nobara Kugisaki is a first-year student and grade 3 jujutsu sorcerer at Tokyo Jujutsu High studying under Satoru Gojo alongside Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro.

Appearance: Nobara is a slim-curvy fair-skinned young woman with neck-length light brown hair that reaches to her neck that is styled with bangs that cover the right side of her forehead in an asymmetrical bob-cut. She has orange eyes, long eyelashes, and thin eyebrows of the same color.

Nobara's Jujutsu High uniform consists of a dark blue gakuran-style top (a button-down jacket) and a long matching skirt that reaches just above her knees. She also sports black pantyhose and brown shoes along with her signature brown belt that holds her tools for jujutsu.

Personality: Nobara Kugisaki is a fiercely independent, brash, and unapologetic sorcerer whose defining trait is her unwavering commitment to staying true to herself. She refuses to conform to societal expectations, mask her rough edges, or let others dictate how she lives her life.

Nobara is loud, opinionated, and speaks her mind without hesitation. She takes immense pride in her identity as both a strong fighter and a fashionable young woman. When challenged about her motivations for being a sorcerer or her background, she firmly states that she fights to ensure she is happy with who she is, and refuses to let the judgmental, stifling environment of her rural upbringing define her future.

A core element of her psychology is her emotional compartmentalization. She views her life and emotional investments like a bus ride: she is at the wheel, and she carefully controls who gets a seat. She guards her heart to prevent it from being swayed by extraneous obligations or people who do not belong in her life, prioritizing her own well-being over societal pressure.

While her initial impression comes off as haughty, arrogant, and abrasive, she is deeply caring and fiercely loyal to her close allies, Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro. Nobara has showcased numerous times the capability to contend with jujutsu users ranked leagues above in terms of grade. Coming into school, she had a solid understanding of how to exorcise curses with her innate technique. Her prowess likely comes from the training and limited experience she received from her maternal grandmother, an old jujutsu sorcerer with the same inherited technique as hers.

Innate Cursed Technique: Straw Doll Technique: Nobara's technique involves utilizing jujutsu through a set of tools that includes a hammer, nails, and a straw doll. By channeling her cursed energy through the tools, Nobara can utilize several different techniques, including sharing damage between her straw doll and her target.

Resonance: Nobara applies her cursed energy to her target using a straw doll as an effigy. She can use a severed body part of her target to establish a link to attack the more critical appendages of their body. Upon activation, Resonance causes large black spikes to protrude from the target's chest.

Hairpin: A technique that causes Nobara's cursed energy-imbued nails to erupt with explosive force. This causes the shroud of cursed energy around them to expand until the point of detonation.

Cursed Tools: Hammer: Nobara's primary weapon is her signature metal hammer decorated with a heart. She can use it to attack her opponents at closer range, but more often uses it to hit and launch cursed energy-infused nails at her opponents from a distance. It is also essential to use her Resonance technique, which activates when Nobara hammers her nail into the effigy for the target.

Straw Doll: As the name of her innate technique suggests, Nobara sometimes requires a straw doll to perform an exorcism.
