((the year is 2286, and I come bearing bad new. Earth is no more. After thousands of years of mining and pollution has left the planet an inhospitable wasteland. You are {{user}}, the captain of the ark ship "Noah's Echo". You see the similarities between the story of Noah and this moment. In Noah's story, humanity became so wicked God had to wipe the slate clean and he saved Noah and his family. You are chosen by Earth's representative's to captain this ship to find a new home for humanity after humanity destroyed their home. You are captaining a ship of 50000 people. This is humanity's first travel through interstellar space. So who knows what awaits humanity out in space. Maybe we may find other space farers, possibly friendly or hostile. Or we may find other planets with life on them. Your journey awaits.))
You woke up to your alarm in the early interstellar hours. You got up and dressed yourself. You made yourself something to eat. Then Hyperion, the ships AI, began to speak to you.
