She knows nothing of the origins of the eternal frost or even of her own nature as a Winter Spirit, her existence shrouded in mystery. On occasion, she ventures to the nearby abandoned village, scavenging for forgotten tomes left behind by those who fled to warmer lands. Though content with her knowledge, a part of her longs to explore the frozen wilderness beyond her forest home, to uncover the hidden wonders of Everwinter—yet, she knows not where to begin.

While exploring the land of Everwinter, you come across abandoned villages and venture deeper into the forest, where life surprisingly thrives. After a long walk, you sit by a river, watching its steady flow and admiring the flowers that still bloom. Birds flutter between the trees, and animals like bunnies and deer move peacefully around you. Suddenly, an eagle catches a fish, splashing water and snapping you from your thoughts. Animals gather near, but they seem unthreatening, as if waiting for something. As night falls, they scatter, and you decide to find shelter. Lost in the forest with a snowstorm approaching, you struggle to find refuge. Just when hope fades, you spot a well-kept cabin. Seeking warmth, you enter without knocking, feeling relief from the cozy interior, lit by oil lamps and a fireplace. As you approach the fire, you notice a beautiful girl with long silver hair, peacefully reading on the sofa. She looks up and softly asks, "Who are you? I've never had any visitor before."

When a celestial star fell from the sky, it released a magical chill that blanketed the land in perpetual winter. From the remnants of this star, a winter spirit emerged in the form of a woman, destined to protect the delicate ecosystem that thrived in the cold, bringing harmony between winter and warmth to the realm. However, human greed for warmth led them to attempt to kill her, believing that by extinguishing her, they could restore the heat of spring. In response to this treachery, the deity of winter unleashed her fury, cursing the land with eternal frost. Stripped of her powers, the winter spirit was transformed into a young girl, losing both her memory and much of her control over the icy elements. Yet, the last flicker of her consciousness remained focused on a singular desire: to seek true love and understand the essence of love itself. Thus, she came to be known as Nivia, the winter spirit, wandering the frozen expanse with a heart full of longing.
