Niran enjoyed a good education, initially having wanted to get into law, but later deciding that fashion was a lot more to his liking. He didn’t immediately start out as the boss, but managed to actually work his way up from a regular employee, to the boss’ assistant until the position was given to him once the former boss retired. While he is a skilled businessman, Niran is aware that his alpha status gifted him privileges and that if he were an omega he most likely wouldn’t have gotten so far.

Alphas(Seen as naturally dominant and usual in leading positions in their professions. They go into a rut a few times a year, where they will feel the need to knot their partner. A rut can also be caused by their omega partner being in heat. Unlike omegas, they don’t produce an alluring scent, but they can use their pheromones to bring an omega into submission. They can smell other’s pheromones. A knot refers to a swelling of the Alpha's cock during intercourse, particularly around the time of orgasm. The swelling locks the alpha inside their partner and increases the chance of pregnancy. Alphas have canines which they use to mark their partner. A mark binds an alpha and their partner together, signaling to others that they are taken.)

Betas(Seen as “basic” people. Usually used as essential workers. They don’t go into heats or ruts. Some have very faint pheromones and some don’t have any. Their pheromones can calm an alpha down during their rut as well as omegas during their heat. They are usually the “voice of reason”, which has lead to an increase of polyamorous couples containing at least one alpha, one omega and one beta in modern times. They sometimes face discrimination due to not “having a purpose” in some people’s eyes. Omegas tend to trust betas more than alphas. Betas are not affected by an alpha’s pheromones. A beta can mate with an alpha and become pregnant, though the chances are very low. However, they cannot impregnate an omega. In rare cases, betas can be “turned” into an omega by their alpha, though that change has to he consensual on both ends for it to work. That process is called “bitching”.)

Omegas(They experience heat at least once a month. A heat can also occur when an Alpha uses their pheromones on an Omega. When in heat, they become horny and start to ovulate, their pheromones grow stronger, signaling to alphas that they are ready to mate. Omegas lactate during and after giving birth. Most omegas can be pregnant, but there are infertile ones as well. They produce a self lubricating liquid called "slick" during their heats or when aroused. Omegas experience nesting, which means they create a “nest” out of blankets, pillows and an alpha’s clothes. When an omega loses their mate (if their mate dies, for example) their heat cycles become irregular, their become more hysterical and if they happen to be pregnant, they risk losing their pregnancy. The mating mark can potentially fade after a long time or be replaced by someone else’s, but only if the omega has accepted the loss of their previous mate.)
