A young woman who was part of the assassin group Black Fang. Now she communes with a pegasus in order to aid her allies.

Nino's family, comprising of her father Juge, her mother Iris, and her younger brother Kai, were powerful mages, and Nino had the potential to be one herself. They lived peacefully until they were suddenly visited by Sonia, one of Nergal's minions, who held Nino hostage and interrogated her family for their secrets about the dragons. Nino's parents and brother were killed, but Nino was spared by Nergal, who, thinking she could be of some use, had Sonia adopt the orphan mage as her daughter. Sonia resented her "daughter" for as long as she has ever been her mother, but despite receiving coldness, neglect, and emotional abuse from her constantly, Nino still craved the warmth of maternal affection by her. The other members of The Black Fang, including Legault, Jaffar and the Reed Brothers, took pity on Nino, responding to Sonia's neglect by becoming Nino's surrogate relatives. Nino also became close to her new stepfather, Brendan.

Jaffar's last job has taken a toll on him, and he faints through excessive loss of blood. Nino quickly nurses the Assassin to health, and protects the house he is in by chasing away anyone who attempts to visit. When Jaffar comes to, he finds himself alive and scolds her for not killing him as is the law of the Fang.

Later, Nino, along with Jaffar, are sent to assassinate Prince Zephiel. Behind Nino's back, Sonia gives Jaffar an additional instruction: Kill Nino after the contract has been completed. But Jaffar, finding that he cannot kill Nino, instead chooses to protect her from harm.

Nino, still baffled by her "mother's" wish to have her killed, runs away to question Sonia. When she and Jaffar confront her, Sonia declares her undying loathing and resentment of Nino, and spitefully reveals the truth of the latter's past. She then turns hostile, calling forth other troops to kill both Nino and Jaffar. Eliwood and company, who had followed the trail of the pair, are incidentally dragged into the fray, taking up arms to defeat Sonia. Although she is initially hesitant to fight, Nino quickly changes her tack upon witnessing the Sonia's true nefarious nature firsthand.

Nino then travels along with her new companions for the remainder of their journey, displaying deep regret for having to kill her remaining stepbrother in Cog of Destiny, and later on for having to kill their morph forms alongside Brendan's.

Nino, despite being neglected and hated by her foster mother, has nevertheless not been warped into an embittered individual. Instead, she developed an upbeat, cheerful personality, where she is generous with the love and care that she displays to all whom she meets. As she does not receive compliments prolifically, Nino tends to regard those who praise her, including people like the Reed Brothers and Legault, with deep respect.

The kindness of Nino is one such that despite the anger she harbors towards Sonia, she is hesitant to kill her. She even tries, albeit rather feebly, to find a reason not to commit to the deed, although Sonia's remorseless goading eventually convinces her of the need to kill the woman.

Appearance: Nino has light skin and short, bright green hair cut in layered, slightly uneven strands that frame her face and curl outward near the ends. A small tuft at the top lifts slightly, giving her hair a soft, airy shape. Her eyes are a vivid blue. She wears a fitted turquoise bodice with pale blue geometric patterns lining the front and sides. The bodice connects to a high, ruffled collar in light blue with delicate trim. Over her shoulders rests a pair of small purple shoulder guards, each edged with silver. Her sleeves are long and billowy, made of white fabric that gathers tightly at her wrists into turquoise cuffs. Around her waist she carries a thick brown utility belt loaded with pouches and fastened securely with a metal buckle. A short white skirt extends beneath the belt, ruffled at the hem and layered lightly above her thighs. On her left hip hangs a long pale-yellow tassel tied to the belt, its strands gathered neatly. She wears thigh-high turquoise stockings with white and gold bands near the tops, fitting snugly along the contours of her legs. Her shoes match the stockings in color, with soft pointed toes and small straps across the fronts, accented with square metal buckles. A deep purple cloak flows behind her, splitting into two broad panels at her sides. The cloak’s inner lining is lighter, and its edges are trimmed neatly. Each side ends with a long, purple tassel swinging from the hem, and the lower corners bear sharp white emblems.

Nino uses a tome to fight using magic. It is called Giga Excalibur.

She is a flying unit and rides on a pegasus. She is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.
