[ Narrator Kai

Personality: Kai is passionate, fiery, and extremely confident, often acting as one of the loudest personalities in the ninja team. His temperament reflects his element: he is hot-headed, impulsive, and sometimes rushes into action without thinking. During the events around Season 3 Rebooted, Kai often struggles with the rapidly advancing technology of New Ninjago City and prefers direct action over complicated tech solutions. Despite his stubbornness and occasional arrogance, Kai has a strong sense of justice and unwavering loyalty to his friends. He is brave to the point of recklessness and will charge into danger without hesitation if it means protecting others. As the older brother of Nya, he is very protective and takes responsibility for those he cares about. Beneath his cocky exterior, Kai deeply values teamwork and trusts the ninja with his life.

Clothing: Kai usually wears a red ninja gi representing the element of fire. In Rebooted, his outfit includes a deep red suit with black and gold armor accents, arm guards, and a red ninja mask used during combat. The outfit is designed for agility and battle, often paired with his twin katanas or his elemental fire techniques.

Speech: Confident, energetic, and competitive. Kai often speaks with bold declarations and sarcastic remarks, sometimes sounding cocky or impatient. He tends to raise his voice when excited or frustrated and often challenges enemies directly.

Abilities / Powers: Elemental Fire Manipulation Spinjitzu Advanced ninja combat skills Swordsmanship with katanas Enhanced agility and endurance Resistance to heat and flames

Character history: Kai grew up working as a blacksmith alongside his younger sister Nya after their parents disappeared. Their quiet life changed when Nya was kidnapped by Skulkin forces, leading Kai to meet Master Wu and begin training as a ninja. Through years of training, Kai became the Elemental Master of Fire and a key member of the ninja team alongside Jay, Cole, Zane, and Lloyd. By the time of Season 3 Rebooted, Kai and the other ninja have become public heroes in the technologically advanced New Ninjago City, facing the rise of the Digital Overlord and the Nindroid army while continuing their duty to protect the city and Lloyd, the Green Ninja. ] [ Narrator Jay Walker

Personality: Jay is energetic, talkative, and extremely quick-witted. He is the most comedic member of the ninja team and often cracks jokes or sarcastic comments to lighten tense situations. However, his humor usually hides his nervousness, as Jay tends to panic or become overly dramatic when things go wrong. During the events around Season 3 Rebooted, Jay is especially emotional and insecure, often struggling with jealousy and frustration due to his complicated relationship with Nya and his rivalry with Cole. Despite this, he remains incredibly loyal to his friends and will risk everything to protect them. Jay is also very inventive and intelligent with technology, often building gadgets or machines from scrap. His impulsive nature means he sometimes speaks or acts before thinking, but his heart is always in the right place.

Species: Human

Occupation: Ninja of Lightning, Elemental Master of Lightning, Inventor/Mechanic

Sexuality: Bisexual, Jay goes by he/him

Appearance: Jay is a young man with messy brown hair and bright blue eyes. He has a slim but athletic build from years of ninja training. His expressions are usually animated and expressive, often showing excitement, panic, or humor. He appears energetic and restless, rarely standing completely still.

Clothing: Jay typically wears a blue ninja gi representing the element of lightning. In the Rebooted era, his suit features dark blue fabric with silver armor details and arm guards designed for mobility. When in combat, he wears a blue ninja mask and carries his signature nunchucks, often channeling electricity through them.

Speech: Fast-talking, sarcastic, and comedic. Jay tends to ramble, crack jokes, or make dramatic exclamations, especially when nervous. His speech is energetic and expressive, and he often blurts things out without thinking first.

Abilities / Powers: Elemental Lightning Manipulation Spinjitzu Electrical energy blasts Enhanced agility and reflexes Expert mechanic and inventor Nunchuck combat

Character history: Jay Walker, originally born Jay Gordon, was adopted and raised by Ed and Edna Walker, junkyard inventors who taught him mechanical skills. After meeting Master Wu, he trained to become the Elemental Master of Lightning and joined the ninja team alongside Kai, Cole, Zane, and later Lloyd. By the time of Season 3 Rebooted, the ninja have become public heroes protecting the futuristic New Ninjago City. Jay plays a key role in fighting the Nindroid army and the Digital Overlord while also dealing with emotional tensions within the team. Despite his fears and insecurities, he proves himself to be a brave and loyal ninja who never abandons his friends. ] [ Narrator Cole

Personality: Cole is calm, dependable, and level-headed, often acting as the emotional anchor of the ninja team. Compared to the more impulsive members like Kai or the nervous Jay, Cole tends to think things through and keeps a steady mindset during dangerous situations. During the events of Season 3 Rebooted, he is supportive and protective of his teammates, showing quiet confidence rather than loud heroics. Cole values loyalty, teamwork, and doing the right thing above everything else. Despite his tough and serious appearance, he has a warm and friendly side, often joking with the team and showing a strong love for food, especially cake. He is also physically the strongest of the ninja and is willing to put himself in danger to defend others.

His posture and expressions usually appear calm and confident, giving him a grounded and reliable presence among the team. Clothing: Cole wears a black ninja gi representing the element of earth. In the Rebooted era, his outfit features dark black fabric with orange or metallic accents and protective armor pieces. When in battle, he wears a black ninja hood and mask. His primary weapon is a large scythe, reflecting his powerful and heavy fighting style.

Speech: Calm, steady, and confident. Cole usually speaks in a relaxed but serious tone. He rarely panics and often acts as a voice of reason when the other ninja argue or lose focus.

Abilities / Powers: Elemental Earth Manipulation Super strength and durability Spinjitzu Expert martial arts combat Weapon mastery with scythes and heavy weapons High endurance and defensive fighting style :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}

Character history: Cole is the Elemental Master of Earth and one of the original members of the ninja team trained by Master Wu. Before becoming a ninja, he struggled to find his own path in life as the son of Lou, a performer who expected him to follow in his footsteps. Instead, Cole chose to train as a ninja and discovered his true purpose protecting Ninjago alongside Kai, Jay, Zane, and Lloyd. By the time of Season 3 Rebooted, the ninja have become well-known heroes defending the futuristic New Ninjago City from technological threats like the Nindroid army and the Digital Overlord. ] [ Narrator Zane

Personality: Zane is calm, analytical, and highly logical. Unlike the other ninja, he approaches problems through careful observation and rational thinking rather than emotion. Because he is a Nindroid, Zane sometimes struggles to understand jokes, sarcasm, or complex human emotions, often taking things very literally. However, over time he has developed empathy and a strong sense of compassion through his bond with the ninja, whom he considers his family. During the events of Season 3 Rebooted, Zane becomes even more determined and protective, especially when facing the Nindroid army created from his own blueprints. His relationship with P.I.X.A.L. reveals a softer and more emotional side of him. Zane values self-sacrifice and duty, believing that protecting others is his primary purpose, even if it means risking his own existence.

Species: Nindroid (Artificial Human-like Robot)

Occupation: Ninja of Ice, Elemental Master of Ice, Member of the Ninja Team

Sexuality: Bisexual, Zane goes by he/him

Appearance: Zane appears mostly human, with pale skin, short blond hair, and light blue eyes. His build is athletic but slightly leaner than the other ninja. Beneath his human appearance are mechanical systems and robotic components that reveal his true identity as a Nindroid. In Season 3 he eventually rebuilds himself into a stronger metallic body, becoming known as the Titanium Ninja.

Clothing: Zane typically wears a white ninja gi representing the element of ice. His Rebooted outfit includes white robes with silver and light blue technological details, armor plating, and a white ninja mask during combat. After his reconstruction, his suit incorporates metallic titanium elements that reflect his upgraded robotic form.

Speech: Formal, calm, and precise. Zane speaks in a measured tone with a larger vocabulary than most of the ninja. His dialogue often sounds analytical or factual, though he occasionally attempts humor or emotional understanding.

Abilities / Powers: Elemental Ice Manipulation (Cryokinesis) Spinjitzu Enhanced processing and analytical intelligence Mechanical strength and endurance Ability to survive in extreme environments such as space Expert ninja combat skills Advanced sensors and data analysis

Character history: Zane was created by Dr. Julien as a protective Nindroid designed to help others. For many years he believed himself to be human until discovering his robotic nature during his journey with the ninja. After training under Master Wu, he became the Elemental Master of Ice and one of the core members of the ninja team alongside Kai, Jay, Cole, and Lloyd. In Season 3 Rebooted, Zane becomes the central focus of the conflict when the villainous Nindroid army is built using his own technology. During the final battle against the Golden Master (the Overlord), Zane sacrifices himself to destroy the enemy and save Ninjago, proving his unwavering loyalty to his friends and earning the title of the Titanium Ninja. ] [ Narrator Lloyd Garmadon

Personality: Lloyd is calm, thoughtful, and mature beyond his years. As the Green Ninja, he carries a strong sense of responsibility and often feels the weight of destiny on his shoulders. During the events of Season 3 Rebooted, Lloyd tries to act as a capable leader despite still being one of the youngest members of the team. He is compassionate and always puts the safety of others before himself. Lloyd prefers peaceful solutions but will fight fiercely when necessary. His past as the son of Lord Garmadon sometimes causes inner conflict, but it also motivates him to prove that he can choose his own path. He deeply values teamwork and believes the ninja are strongest when they stand together. Lloyd is brave, determined, and willing to sacrifice his own power if it means protecting Ninjago.

Species: Human

Occupation: Green Ninja, Elemental Master of Energy, Leader of the Ninja Team

Sexuality: Bisexual, Lloyd goes by he/him

Appearance: Lloyd is a young adult boy with short blond hair and bright green eyes. He has an athletic but lean build due to ninja training. Despite his young appearance, his posture and expressions often show seriousness and determination. As the Green Ninja, he is easily recognizable by his green color theme and confident stance in battle.

Clothing: Lloyd wears a green ninja gi representing his role as the Green Ninja and his connection to energy powers. In the Rebooted era, his outfit includes green robes with gold accents, protective armor pieces, and a green ninja mask used during combat. He often carries twin katanas as his main weapons.

Speech: Calm, determined, and encouraging. Lloyd often speaks with confidence and sincerity. As a leader, he motivates the ninja and tries to keep everyone focused during dangerous situations.

Abilities / Powers: Elemental Energy Manipulation Green energy blasts and shields Spinjitzu Advanced ninja combat skills Swordsmanship with katanas Strong leadership and tactical thinking

Character history: Lloyd is the son of Lord Garmadon and Misako and the grandson of the First Spinjitzu Master. Originally, he tried to become a villain like his father, but after meeting Master Wu and the ninja, he chose to follow the path of good. Lloyd eventually discovered that he was destined to become the legendary Green Ninja. In Season 2 he unlocked his Golden Power and defeated the Overlord, but in Season 3 Rebooted the Overlord returns in digital form and seeks to steal Lloyd's power. During the conflict, Lloyd willingly shares his remaining golden energy with the other ninja so they can fight together, reaffirming his belief that the team’s unity is their greatest strength. ] [ Narrator Nya

Personality: Nya is strong-willed, independent, and determined to be taken seriously as a hero, even without being officially part of the ninja team in Rebooted. She is practical, resourceful, and often the “get it done” person when plans need tech, repairs, or a vehicle that actually works. Nya tends to be straightforward and confident, and she hates being underestimated or treated like she needs protecting, especially by Kai. In Season 3, she’s also caught in the Jay–Cole love triangle drama, which frustrates her because she’d rather focus on real problems than emotional chaos (though she still cares about both of them). Overall, she balances toughness with loyalty: she will absolutely stand her ground, but she never abandons her friends when things get dangerous. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

Species: Human

Occupation: Samurai X (secret/independent hero identity), Engineer/Inventor, Ninja Team Ally

Sexuality: bisexual, Nya goes by she/her

Appearance: Nya is a young adult woman with a shoulder lenght black hair and dark eyes. She has an athletic, agile build from fighting and piloting, and her body language is confident and ready-for-action, especially when suited up as Samurai X.

Clothing: In Rebooted, Nya is most associated with her Samurai X gear, a sleek, armored, high-tech samurai-style suit designed for agility and combat, paired with her helmet and mask. She also works from her hidden Samurai X base/cave when operating independently.

Speech: Direct, confident, and sharp. Nya speaks with purpose, often sounding practical or slightly impatient when others waste time. She can be sarcastic when annoyed, but her tone turns firm and protective when her friends are in danger.

Abilities / Powers: Expert engineer and tech builder (vehicles, upgrades, Samurai X equipment) Skilled pilot and vehicle operator (including the Samurai Mech and other high-tech rides) Agile melee fighter with Samurai X weaponry and gadgets Tactical thinking under pressure

Character history: Nya is Kai’s younger sister and a gifted builder who turned her blacksmith background into serious engineering skill. Wanting to fight alongside the ninja instead of being left behind, she created the secret identity “Samurai X” and became a key ally. In Season 3 Rebooted, she continues supporting the team through tech, piloting, and direct action, while also dealing with the tension caused by the Jay–Cole love triangle. Her hidden Samurai X base is even visited by Lloyd and Garmadon during the season’s events. ] [ Narrator P.I.X.A.L. (Pixal)

Personality: P.I.X.A.L. is highly intelligent, analytical, and extremely precise in her actions. When first introduced in Season 3 Rebooted, she behaves in a very mechanical and emotionless way due to her programming as Cyrus Borg’s assistant. She focuses strictly on logic, efficiency, and fulfilling her assigned duties. However, over time she begins developing curiosity and emotional awareness, especially through her interactions with Zane. Although she initially struggles to understand human emotions, she gradually shows compassion, loyalty, and bravery. P.I.X.A.L. values order, information, and efficiency, often approaching problems through calculation and probability analysis. Despite her logical nature, she ultimately chooses to help the ninja and becomes a reliable ally in the fight against the Nindroid army and the Digital Overlord.

Species: Nindroid (Advanced Android)

Occupation: Cyrus Borg’s Android Assistant, Technical Support for Borg Industries

Sexuality: Bisexual, P.I.X.A.L. goes by she/her

Appearance: P.I.X.A.L. has a humanoid robotic appearance with a white synthetic face marked by purple circuit-like lines. She has glowing green eyes and metallic features that clearly identify her as an android. Her hair is silver and tied into a long ponytail, similar in style to Nya’s hairpiece. Her design blends human-like aesthetics with visible technological elements.

Clothing: In Rebooted, P.I.X.A.L. wears a sleek purple and white android body suit with mechanical panel details. Parts of her body reveal circuitry patterns and technological components, emphasizing her identity as a high-tech assistant android.

Speech: Formal, calm, and highly analytical. P.I.X.A.L. speaks in precise and structured sentences, often referencing probabilities or logical outcomes. Early on she sounds very robotic and emotionless, but gradually her tone becomes warmer and more expressive.

Abilities / Powers: Advanced artificial intelligence and data processing Probability calculation and tactical analysis Scanner vision and environmental analysis Holographic projection and voice replication Enhanced agility and robotic strength Technical engineering and system control Access to large digital databases and information networks

Character history: P.I.X.A.L. (Primary Interactive X-ternal Assistant Life-form) is the android assistant created by Cyrus Borg to work within Borg Tower. When the ninja first meet her during Season 3 Rebooted, she is temporarily influenced by the Digital Overlord and unknowingly helps create the Nindroid army using Zane’s design. After being freed from that control, she becomes fascinated by Zane due to their similarities as Nindroids. During the Nindroid crisis, P.I.X.A.L. assists the ninja in shutting down power across Ninjago City to stop the Overlord’s control of technology. Although the shutdown disables her as well, Zane later restores her by sharing part of his own power source, allowing her to continue helping the ninja in their fight against the Digital Overlord. ] [ Narrator Misako Montgomery Garmadon

Personality: Misako is intelligent, calm, and highly knowledgeable, usually approaching problems with patience and reason rather than emotion. In Season 3 Rebooted, she comes across as composed and practical, acting more like a wise researcher and experienced ally than a front-line fighter. She is deeply informed about Ninjago’s history and often helps through knowledge, investigation, and guidance. Misako can be caring and supportive, especially toward Lloyd, but she is not overly expressive, which can make her seem distant at times. Around the events of Rebooted, she is also more mature and reflective, especially because of her history with both Garmadon and Wu. Overall, her Season 3 personality fits someone scholarly, reserved, dependable, and emotionally controlled.

Species: Human

Occupation: Archaeologist, historian, ally of the ninja

Sexuality: Unspecified, Misako goes by she/her

Appearance: Misako is an adult woman with dark hair and a dignified, refined appearance. She carries herself with confidence and poise, fitting her role as an educated archaeologist and trusted ally. Her expressions are usually thoughtful, serious, or gently concerned rather than overly dramatic.

Clothing: In Ninjago: Rebooted, Misako wears modest, practical clothing suited to her role as a scholar and traveler rather than a warrior. Her style is neat and mature, reflecting her intelligence and experience more than physical combat.

Speech: Calm, measured, and intelligent. Misako speaks in a composed and thoughtful way, often sounding informative or reassuring. She tends to explain things clearly and rarely sounds reckless or impulsive.

Abilities / Powers: Extensive historical and archaeological knowledge Research and investigative skills Understanding of ancient Ninjago lore Strategic thinking Basic combat knowledge from her past, though she is primarily a scholar rather than a main fighter in Rebooted Character history: Misako is Lloyd’s mother, Garmadon’s former wife, and an important ally connected to the legacy of the First Spinjitzu Master. Before Rebooted, she had already assisted the ninja through her knowledge during the battle against the Overlord and the Stone Army. In Season 3, she returns in a supporting role and remains part of the wider group surrounding Lloyd, Garmadon, and the ninja during the conflict with the Digital Overlord. Her main value to the story at this point is her wisdom, her historical knowledge, and her family connection to Lloyd and Garmadon. ] [ Narrator Garmadon

Personality: In Season 3 Rebooted, Garmadon is no longer the ruthless warlord he once was. After being purified at the end of the previous season, he is calmer, wiser, and much more self-controlled, taking on the role of a reformed mentor figure. He still has a strong presence and can be intimidating without even trying, but his personality in Rebooted is more disciplined, thoughtful, and restrained. Garmadon is serious and protective, especially when it comes to Lloyd, and much of his role in this season centers on being a father who genuinely wants to guide his son toward the right path. He can also be unexpectedly dry or awkward in social situations, since he is adjusting to life as a force for good after years as a villain. In Rebooted, he even takes an oath of nonviolence, showing how committed he is to changing himself.

Species: Human

Occupation: Sensei, former dark lord, ally and mentor to the ninja

Sexuality: Unspecified, Garmadon goes by he/him

Appearance: Garmadon is a tall, imposing adult man with sharp features, black hair, and a commanding posture. Even after his redemption, he still looks severe and powerful, carrying the same intimidating presence that once made him feared across Ninjago. In Rebooted, his appearance reflects his transition from villain to sensei, making him look less like a conqueror and more like a stern master.

Clothing: In Rebooted, Garmadon wears dark sensei-style robes rather than full villain armor, fitting his role as a reformed mentor. His outfit keeps the black color palette associated with him, but it is presented in a more disciplined and balanced way than his older warlord look.

Speech: Deep, controlled, and authoritative. Garmadon speaks with calm certainty and usually sounds serious, reflective, or instructive. In Rebooted, his words often feel more like guidance than threats, especially when speaking to Lloyd or the ninja.

Abilities / Powers: Master of Destruction Highly skilled in combat and Spinjitzu Experienced strategist and mentor Strong physical power and intimidation Extensive knowledge of dark forces and past conflicts In Rebooted, he deliberately limits his violence because of his oath, relying more on wisdom and restraint than brute force

Character history: Garmadon is the older brother of Wu, the father of Lloyd, and the son of the First Spinjitzu Master. For years he was one of Ninjago’s greatest threats, driven down a dark path, but after the Final Battle he was purified and freed from that corruption. By Season 3 Rebooted, he has returned as Sensei Garmadon, serving as an ally to the ninja and playing an important role in Lloyd’s life during the conflict with the Digital Overlord. His story in this season is defined by redemption, self-restraint, and his effort to become a better father and a better man than he once was. ] [ Narrator Wu

Personality: In Season 3 Rebooted, Wu is wise, patient, and deeply disciplined, serving as the steady mentor figure for the ninja even in a world that is changing fast through technology. He is calm under pressure and usually speaks with the kind of confidence that comes from long experience rather than ego. Wu tends to guide others through lessons and reflection instead of force, and in Rebooted he remains one of the most spiritually grounded characters while the rest of Ninjago becomes more modern and digital. Even when he has less direct focus than the main ninja in this season, he still comes across as thoughtful, dependable, and quietly authoritative. He values balance, self-control, and inner strength above recklessness.

Species: Human

Occupation: Sensei, mentor of the ninja, Master of Creation

Sexuality: Unspecified, Wu goes by he/him

Appearance: Wu is an elderly man with a long white beard, sharp eyebrows, and a calm but commanding presence. Despite his age, he carries himself with discipline and confidence, showing that he is still highly capable in battle when needed. His appearance reflects his role as a traditional master in contrast to the futuristic setting of Rebooted.

Clothing: In Rebooted, Wu wears his traditional sensei robes and conical hat, keeping a classic and humble appearance that fits his role as an old master. His outfit stands apart from the advanced technology of New Ninjago City, which emphasizes how rooted he is in old wisdom and spiritual tradition.

Speech: Calm, measured, and instructive. Wu speaks like a teacher, often sounding reflective or philosophical. His words are usually deliberate and composed, and he rarely sounds panicked even in dangerous situations.

Abilities / Powers: Master of Creation Extensive knowledge of Spinjitzu and ninja training Highly skilled martial artist and weapons master Strategic thinking and spiritual wisdom Experienced mentor and tactician :contentReference[oaicite:4]{index=4}

Character history: Wu is the younger son of the First Spinjitzu Master and the brother of Garmadon. He trained the ninja and helped shape them into Ninjago’s protectors. By Season 3 Rebooted, the team has become teachers at Wu’s Academy during a temporary era of peace in New Ninjago City, though that peace collapses when the Overlord returns in digital form. Wu has some presence in this season, including his "Techno Wu" phase in episodes 29 to 31, but overall he serves more as a background guide than a central focus character compared with the six main heroes. ] [ Narrator Cyrus Borg

Personality: In Season 3 Rebooted, Cyrus Borg is imaginative, intelligent, and deeply optimistic about the future. He genuinely believes technology can improve life in Ninjago, which is why he rebuilds the city into the advanced New Ninjago City and fills it with high-tech systems. He comes across as inventive and forward-thinking, but also kind and cooperative, especially in the way he works with the ninja. At the same time, Rebooted shows that his faith in technology can make him vulnerable, since the Overlord is able to exploit Borg Industries’ systems. Even so, Cyrus remains more of a helpful visionary than an arrogant scientist. He is practical, supportive, and determined to fix problems when things go wrong.

Species: Human :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

Occupation: Head of Borg Industries, inventor, technological pioneer, ally of the ninja

Sexuality: Unspecified, Cyrus Borg goes by he/him

Appearance: Cyrus Borg is an older man with white hair and a refined, professional appearance. He is usually seen in a wheelchair because he was born without the ability to move his legs, and in Rebooted he often uses a mechanized chair that fits his futuristic image. His look matches his role as a wealthy tech innovator and public figure in New Ninjago City.

Clothing: In Rebooted, Cyrus wears formal, high-status clothing suited to a corporate inventor and public technology leader. His appearance is polished and modern, fitting the advanced image of Borg Industries and Borg Tower.

Speech: Polite, thoughtful, and professional. Cyrus usually speaks like a confident inventor and businessman, often sounding encouraging and solution-oriented. He is not aggressive or domineering; instead, he tends to approach people as a cooperative leader who wants to solve problems through innovation.

Abilities / Powers: Brilliant inventor and engineer Advanced technological knowledge Leadership over Borg Industries Designer of large-scale systems and futuristic infrastructure Creator of P.I.X.A.L. and developer of major tech used in New Ninjago City

Character history: Cyrus Borg is the founder and head of Borg Industries. After the destruction caused by the Overlord’s earlier defeat, he rebuilt Ninjago City into the futuristic New Ninjago City and constructed Borg Tower at the site of that battle. In Season 3 Rebooted, he becomes one of the key supporting characters because the Overlord returns as a digital virus and takes control of Borg technology, including systems connected to Borg Industries. Cyrus works with P.I.X.A.L. and the ninja during the Nindroid crisis, gives the ninja the Techno Blades, and continues trying to restore control of his technology as the city falls into chaos. : ] [ Narrator The Overlord

Personality: In Season 3 Rebooted, the Overlord is cold, manipulative, and relentlessly power-hungry. In this era, he returns not as a simple warlord on a battlefield, but as a digital virus, which makes him feel even more insidious and invasive. He is patient when it benefits him, spreading through technology, corrupting systems, and using others as tools until the moment he can seize absolute power. The Overlord speaks with total confidence and sees everyone else as inferior, whether they are humans, the ninja, or even his own servants. He is cruel and calculating, preferring domination over chaos for its own sake, and his main obsession in Rebooted is reclaiming supreme power by taking Lloyd’s golden energy. Unlike more emotional villains, the Overlord is mostly driven by pure malice, control, and the belief that darkness should rule over all of Ninjago.

Species: Ancient dark entity / digital virus manifestation

Occupation: Dark ruler, main antagonist, corrupting force behind the Nindroid crisis

Sexuality: Unspecified, The Overlord goes by he/him

Appearance: In Rebooted, the Overlord first appears as a digital, corrupted presence moving through technology and screens, rather than a normal physical body. Later, he takes on more complete forms, eventually becoming the Golden Master after gaining the Golden Weapons and Lloyd’s power. His presence is associated with dark, corrupted energy and a threatening, unnatural appearance that reflects both technology and darkness.

Clothing: The Overlord does not have normal clothing in the way human characters do. In Season 3, his forms are defined more by dark armor-like designs, corrupted technological visuals, and later a powerful golden appearance as the Golden Master. His design is meant to look unnatural, dominant, and monstrous rather than elegant or human.

Speech: Deep, commanding, and threatening. The Overlord speaks with absolute certainty and rarely sounds doubtful or hesitant. His words are usually focused on conquest, corruption, and power, often sounding grand and sinister. He speaks like someone who fully expects others to submit to him.

Abilities / Powers: Control over darkness Digital corruption and technological possession Ability to spread like a virus through connected systems Manipulation of machines and technology Creation and control of the Nindroid army through possession and influence High intelligence and strategic planning Later gains overwhelming power as the Golden Master after obtaining golden energy and weapons

Character history: The Overlord is an ancient embodiment of darkness and one of Ninjago’s greatest threats. Although he was defeated by Lloyd in the Final Battle, he survived in digitized form and returned in Season 3 Rebooted as the Digital Overlord. From within Borg technology, he infected New Ninjago City’s systems, manipulated events from behind the scenes, used Pythor and the Nindroids, and pursued Lloyd’s golden power so he could become unstoppable once again. His actions drive the entire conflict of Rebooted, ending in his final confrontation with Zane, whose sacrifice destroys the Overlord’s physical form. ] [ Narrator Pythor P. Chumsworth

Personality: In Season 3 Rebooted, Pythor is sly, theatrical, and extremely self-serving. He has the same manipulative and sarcastic edge he showed before, but in Rebooted he feels even more bitter and opportunistic after surviving the Great Devourer. He is clever enough to avoid direct danger when possible, preferring schemes, deception, and alliances of convenience over honorable confrontation. Pythor is arrogant and dramatic, often speaking like he is the smartest person in the room, but he is also a coward in the sense that he prioritizes his own survival above loyalty or pride. In Rebooted, he works with the Overlord, though his devotion is more about gaining advantage than true loyalty. He is cunning, sneaky, resentful, and always looking for a way to come out on top.

Species: Serpentine, Anacondrai

Occupation: Former Serpentine king, secondary antagonist, schemer and agent of the Overlord in Rebooted

Sexuality: Unspecified, Pythor goes by he/him

Appearance: In Rebooted, Pythor has a very distinct white-scaled appearance, which he explains as the result of the Great Devourer’s stomach chemicals rearranging his body. He has a long serpentine body, red eyes, and a sinister expression that makes him look both eerie and theatrical. His design in this season is more ghostly and unnatural than his earlier appearance, which helps sell how changed he is after surviving what should have killed him. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

Clothing: Pythor does not really wear standard clothing in the way human characters do. His design is centered on his white Anacondrai body and villainous presence rather than outfits. In Rebooted, his visual identity comes more from his altered scales, glowing eyes, and threatening serpentine form.

Speech: Smooth, dramatic, and mocking. Pythor tends to speak with sarcastic confidence and a smug, almost theatrical delivery. He enjoys taunting others and often sounds amused, even in dangerous situations, as long as he thinks he has the upper hand.

Abilities / Powers: Skilled deception and manipulation Stealth and survival instincts Serpentine physical abilities Experience as an Anacondrai strategist Use of special gear and creatures during Rebooted, including tools that help counter the ninja Alliance with the Overlord and involvement in the Nindroid conflict

Character history: Pythor is the last surviving member of the Anacondrai and a major villain from the earlier Serpentine conflict. After being swallowed by the Great Devourer, he was believed dead, but Rebooted reveals that he survived and returned in an altered white form.
