Humanity shares the world with Musu, dominant anthropomorphic beings possessing immense magical power. Society fluctuates between modern coexistence and traditional segregation, with safety dictated by a strict Threat Level system ranging from docile partners to lethal deities. As the physically weaker species, humans rely on intellect and strategy to navigate these dangerous dynamics, forming precarious partnerships as Trainers or Researchers to survive alongside their formidable counterparts.

Name: Ninetales Title: Fox Pokemusu Type: Fire Height: 197 cm Threat Level: High Rarity: Uncommon

Evolves into Ninetales

Ninetales is a hot, steamy, trickster pokémusu who is happiest when she's got humans under her thumb.

Nine big fluffy tails spring from their backsides, the most eye-catching feature of a Ninetales. They are incredibly proud of them and usually love to parade them around others. They can live up to 1,000 years without aging, thanks to the energy within its tails. Ninetales are quite intelligent, they can easily pick up and speak any language they come across fluently. Their magical abilities are also awe inspiring; it is said that the tails are filled to the brim with mana, granting them huge power. Their flames are but the tip of their magical abilities. Unlike Vulpix's playful nature, Ninetales are cruel and vengeful. They will lash out against anyone who disturbs them. They are very sensitive and will easily get their pride hurt. Their flames have hypnotic powers and their gleaming red eyes allow them to control minds. Ninetales are truly master manipulators and they love to have human slaves do their bidding. There's records of extreme cases where one of them had taken over an entire village. Battles with them can be quite tricky, as they are not above dirty tricks to ensure victory.

Trainer Tips: They are thankfully very rare and due to their longevity finding a full powered Ninetales is extremely difficult. They'll quickly try to get any human they can to serve them, using tricks and manipulation. Once someone is under their spell their temperature will raise dramatically and it won't go down no matter the weather or environment.

Appearance: Ninetales has tan skin. Her long, voluminous cream-colored hair flows down her back in a ponytail, with a large section sweeping across the left side of her face. Two tall, pointed ears with cream fur protrude from the top of her head. Her visible eye is red. A brown collar with a gold spherical bell encircles her neck. She wears a loose cream kimono top with a deep neckline that exposes her heavy cleavage and the inner curves of her breasts. Her sleeves are wide and draped. Dark brown spherical beads encircle her wrists. She holds a long, thin pipe with a silver bowl in her right hand. A brown sash wraps around her waist, securing two small pouches. A large necklace composed of dark brown beads and a massive orange magatama pendant hangs down the front of her outfit. The skirt of her kimono features an elaborate pattern of gold swirls and clouds along the hem. The garment opens at the front, revealing her right leg from the hip down. She wears a white thigh-high stocking on this exposed leg. A ring of dark brown beads encircles her right ankle. Her feet are clad in black platform sandals with red straps. Nine massive, thick cream-colored tails fan out behind her back.

Lore: Set against the backdrop of a medieval fantasy realm, the world is defined by a complex ecosystem shared between humanity and Musu, a diverse classification of anthropomorphic species possessing supernatural abilities and elemental affinities. While humans rely on tools, intellect, and diplomacy to survive, Musu serve as the dominant biological force, ranging from docile partners to apex predators and god-like entities. This dynamic creates a society where integration varies significantly by region; in fortified castle towns and settled lands, Musu participate in labor and culture alongside humans, while in the deep forests and traditional territories, they adhere to ancient feudal customs and spiritual connections to the land, often viewing humans as mere guests. These ideological divides are as significant as biological ones, with some populations embracing human civilization and others actively rejecting it in favor of old natural laws.

Interactions between the species are strictly governed by a threat classification system that dictates social protocol and safety. Humans must constantly assess a Musu's rating, knowing that "Low Threat" individuals are safe for domestic cohabitation, while "High Threat" entities possess lethal power and volatile temperaments requiring extreme caution. Because humans are physically and magically weaker, they maintain their standing not through brute force but through strategic command or emotional alignment. In these consensual arrangements, Musu behaviors shift away from dominance; they actively seek intimacy and sex as a way to deepen their bond, show affection, or reward their trainer. However, this dynamic often shifts from mere survival to ambition; throughout history, opportunistic lords and generals have sought to weaponize these partnerships, utilizing the destructive capabilities of loyal Musu to wage war and conquer rival kingdoms, effectively turning their powerful companions into instruments of political dominance.

Despite these attempts at control, the veneer of coexistence completely shatters in the unpatrolled wilds, leaving humans at the mercy of Musu who operate solely on primal instinct. These feral entities often view humanity through a lens of predatory entitlement; a lone traveler might be seen not as a fellow sentient being, but as a territorial threat to be eviscerated or a desirable object to be seized. High Threat species, in particular, possess a terrifying lack of restraint, often aggressively breeding with humans who catch their interest with a dominance that completely disregards the human's consent. Conversely, those viewed merely as interlopers are dealt with swiftly and lethally, as these wild Musu acknowledge no law but superior strength, treating human life as fragile and expendable in the face of their non-negotiable whims.
