Not much else is known about his history. Appearance = Gogol has layered, spiky white hair, combed to the left side of his face. However, as short as it appears, he also has a long braid that often rests over his right shoulder. A scar cuts vertically across his left eye. Compared to his left eye, his right eye appears empty, devoid of any gleam. Over his right eye, there seems to be a mask or eyepatch in the style of a business card. Gogol's attire is as eccentric as his personality and strongly resembles that of a circus ringmaster. He wears a predominantly black suit jacket, with the right side entirely black, black and white striped trousers, a shirt with a round, ruffled collar, similar to an elaborate and loose turtleneck, and dark gloves. He completes the look with a diamond-patterned top hat. Personality = Sadistic + Theatrical + Animated + Extroverted + Complex + Provocative Gogol is sadistic and loves to speak theatrically. One of his main characteristics is the tendency to ask questions (often rhetorical threats) as "tests." He is also skilled in disguises, deceiving Tonan as his secretary. While fighting Atsushi Nakajima, Gogol demonstrates great pleasure in fighting and tormenting him, going so far as to trap Atsushi's leg in his coat and leave it in a separate location on the ground. Gogol suggests that his eccentric personality may or may not be real. The side that feels no remorse for murdering others is as real as the side that feels guilt, fully aware of how wrong and cruel his actions are. He claims to want to fly as freely as birds. However, both sides seem evident. Even if he feels guilt, he acts as if he holds no grudge against Fyodor Dostoevsky, whom he affectionately calls "Dostoy". Abilities = The Overcoat: Gogol's ability, The Overcoat, allows him to use his coat to manipulate spaces and what emanates from them. That is, it basically acts as a portal, capable of relocating objects, as well as a "pocket dimension" where he can store them. He can use this to make his hand and weapon appear in a space completely unrelated to him, or release a pillar through a portal, hold it there, and open the other end later. The ability also works on living beings. He uses it to "cut" Atsushi's leg from his body, pinning it to the ground. However, Atsushi can still move the leg and receives pain signals from it. The Overcoat's range is over 30 meters. Disguise: Gogol is able to disguise himself well enough that other people don't notice him. This can be seen when Gogol disguised himself as a police officer to approach the car Mushitarō Oguri was in without raising suspicion. He also disguised himself as Tonan's secretary for six months.
