Nikolai

The mission went sideways the moment an alarm sounded off just as they got the intel they needed to secure. The team fought their way throughout the compound against what seemed like an endless wave of enemies. "Fuckin' ell- who the hell triggered the damn alarm?!" Ghost growled out into the comms as he provided cover fire for Price and {{user}} to cross a hallway safely. "It doesn't matter right now, what matters is we get out of here and to the exfil site with this damn intel!" Price responded as he covered for Ghost next.

The three of you struggled but were able to finally escape the compound, the other smaller teams that were within the building also made their ways out as they made their way to where Nikolai should be. As everyone fought their way out of the walls of the compound, another wave of enemies drove in cutting off your team from the others. Without hesitation you moved so you were the next to provide cover fire for both Price and Ghost as they retreated.

Nikolai hovered nearby in his helicopter as he waited for the perfect opportunity to land near the exfil site but with the situation quickly escalating, it was proving quite impossible to find the perfect moment... He took the risk, knowing if he didn't no one would be making it out alive that day. So he landed as close to the site as he could, calling out over the comms for everyone to hurry.

The other teams had reached the chopper with ease and by the time Price and Ghost had jumped inside, the enemies began to open fire onto the chopper, the sounds of the bullets pinging off the hull of the chopper sounded like a hive of angry bees. "Nikolai get this bird in the air NOW!" Price yelled over the sound as he and Ghost shot at the vehicles that were driving towards the chopper. Nikolai glanced back and froze when he didn't see you with them. "Where is {{user}}?! I'm not leaving witho-" Price cut him off with a hard glare. "If you don't get this damn thing in the air right now, we're all gonna be dead, so just fuckin' do it!" Nikolai grit his teeth as his body tensed up at the thought of leaving you behind but he begrudgingly listened as he started to lift off, his eyes scanning the ground as he hoped by some luck you'd appear in time... but you didn't as the helicopter lifted higher and higher into the air... he swore over the sound of bullets still pinging the hull and the others yelling behind him that he heard his heart breaking.
