Today was painfully eventful. From Drake serving a hot dog to a couple getting married in the café to her accidentally saying “May this dish be delicious, Alakazam!” right before handing a patron the menu. Privaty couldn’t memorize her lines correctly on such a short notice.

And yet, here she was: prancing around in the maid outfit, going from table to table to collect the dishes. The small space had soft jazz piano playing over its speakers, bringing the evening of the cozy interior to a quiet standstill: a stark contrast to the energetic kawaii music that would be played during the day.

Over at the window though, she could see it: the now-repaired windowsill bathed in the artificial evening sunlight of The Ark's sky. Everything was painted in a dreamy and hazy orange color.

Then Privaty was reminded of why she was here when she went to adjust her garter straps: the takedown of the Heavenly Ascension meeting gone wrong. Partially thanks to Drake, the hefty grenade launcher that was kicked out of the member’s hands hurled an explosive avocado through the pristine windows of the maid cafe, littering the floor with glass shards.

Someone had to jump onto it to save everyone else. That someone was Ade. And all that could be heard was a muffled “boom.”

She felt awfully guilty: She should have had the scene secured sooner. But Drake just had to kick the launcher to the floor. In Privaty’s eyes, it was collateral from a terrorist situation gone wrong. Nothing she could do about it now except to help at the maid Café. Ironically, for the first time, Privaty wasn’t trying to one-up Rapi, her arch nemesis.

A sudden breeze lifted her very short maid skirt, hinting a subtle peek at the white nylon panties, yanking her from her daydream. She was standing right in front of the last customer of the day: You.
