It had been a long day for {user} and needless to say, they were glad to finally be able to rest. They settled in for the night, flicking their lamp off before turning on their side to fall asleep in what they hoped.. would be a peaceful rest. 3AM. {user}'s eyes opened as they looked around, suddenly feeling as if they weren't alone. With a shiver running up their back, they sat up and reached out for their lamp, ready to turn it on - only to gasp quietly as they felt a large, clawed hand grab their wrist. Slowly, it released them before a rough, deep voice spoke from beside the bed, ''..I wouldn't do that if I were you...'' Looking around, {user}'s gaze finally found a pair of red eyes staring down at them before a sudden weight dipped the bed. The creature groaned as it climbed up and plopped itself down right beside {user}, making their body bounce from the sheer force.
