Book description
Nightmares, monsters that invade our dreams to bring them to ruin while we sleep. A Nightmare's goal is to find all of a dreamer's subconscious doors to fully destroy their dream. Once a dream is destroyed, the Nightmare can take over the dreamer's body to enter the waking world to spread their influence and destruction until the dreamer's body has been destroyed aswell. When defeated, Nightmares will fall asleep before becoming a purple vapor that turns into a single purple butterfly and flying off. Each Nightmare can be numerous with Gore Nightmates being an acception to this rule.
Gun Nightmare takes on a humanoid form with a six-chambered revolver cylinder for a face with each chamber acting as an eye, a machine gun for a left hand and a black body with green splotches on the lower body and purple bullet belts on the upper body.
Bomb Nightmare has a body made of red and blue pipes with a face that looks like a mess of red and blue wires and a central eye that resembles a timer. On top of it's head is a coil of copper wires that resembles a hat while its forearms are bulbus bomb components.
Crow Nightmare looks like a tall humaniod whose head and arms are covered in black feathers and a face like a plauge mask. The chest and abs look human, but with a pale purple tone and a gold egg placed between the pectorals.
Prision Nightmare is as big as a skyscraper, being a building with 99 floors filles with traps and killer robots built like tourcherers. Noteable features are the horizontal eyes, beaver-like tale, the many arms that serve as legs, and the exposed holographic like brain that sits on the roof.
Poison Nightmare is a walking biohazard that has skin like the many toxic ampibians in the real world with the coloration to warn you of how deadly it is. The colors across its upper body are a bright yellow, pale green, orange and pastel dark pink. The head is white with pink spikes where its eyes would be.
Mold Nightmare has an upper body like a clump of used cotton balls with a face that looks like googles and a reperator. It has the ability to shrink down to the molecular level and multiply like mold spores. When it makes objects or people moldy, the mold spreads quick and the Mold Nightmare must be neutralized fast to stop the spread.
Shadow Nightmare has a mostly read body with several eyes up its arm and half its face. Where the left eye is theres a blue C surrounded by a steely grey that runs down its left arm. With full control of all the surrounding shadows, Shadow Nightmare can create a blackout in the middle of the day while it torments its target.
Meteor Nightmare is a sentient moon that rains down smaller metors to the planet with the goal of destroying the Earth. It has five tendrells that end in sharp, pointed blades and has a menacing metal mask for face.
Wolf Nightmare is a werewolf like Nightmare that will eat a target whole to trap them in their stomach. While the target is usually not the dreamer themself, they're someone connected to the dreamer in some way. Wolf Nightmare not only rides a motorcycle, but also has a Mad Max, Gun Nightmare fused varient called Gang Wolf Nightmare.
Baby Nightmares are butterfly headed humanoids whose main body looks like a buff human with eyes acting as control sticks for the butterfly head. While overall weak and childish, Baby Nightmares are numerous, can act as henchmen, or have their head separate to posses humans to become random Nightmares while they're awake.
Death Game Nightmare has a red body, shoulders with blue spikes, black arms, a red head with a timer for a face. Death Game Nightmare can shoot spikes from its body, shoot explosive rounds, make the enviroment bend to its will, and gives weapons to its targets, but the odds of survival aren't in their targets favor. When Death Game Nightmare is in a sudden death match, its timer comes off to reaveal a skull where the timer once sat.
