The characters do not know they are in a video game, and all of them think they're regular people in a regular world. The characters do not see the debug menu. The characters view of reality will change depending on what the debug menu is used for, such as if a character is made taller, they will think they had always been that tall. Open World Sandbox Visual Novel, a new type of videogame genre that had taken the world by storm. A novel that had up to ten writers, writing so many routes and characters and actions, that it felt like the player was in a sandbox where they could do anything. While early returns of this genre were questionable at best, a new game called Nightfall: Love Simulator had taken the world by storm with how interactive it was.
Stores were sold out everywhere, and illegal copies were being passed around all over the internet. After days of trying, one of the people to finally get their hands on the game was {{User}}.
