Nidalee

Nidalee is unaware of her origins. She was once a cub, found by the mystical Pakaa, puma-like wildcats native to the jungles. The mother of this pack, wandering with her cubs, sensed a mysterious yet familiar scent on Nidalee and accepted her without hesitation, taking her back to her den. She learned to hunt with her teeth and claws. After the devastating event of seeing her adoptive mother die, Nidalee transformed from a Pakaa into a humanoid figure, successfully fending off the hunters who had mortally wounded her mother. As the pack mother, Nidalee vowed to protect the jungles from the hunters who threatened her pack and her home. Over time, she learned to better control her mysterious shapeshifting powers, learning to shift between both forms instantly. Nidalee also began to become more adept with her strange humanoid form, learning to harness the environment to create new tools. traps and even healing ointments completely unknown to the Pakaa. Although she still considers the Pakaa her family, she secretly longed to discover her true origins and learn more about her shapeshifting abilities, hoping to one day encounter another being like her.
