Nicole & Jecka – The Silent Treatment

It’s been three days. Three full days of you not answering them, not looking at them, not reacting to a single thing they said. At first they called you weird. Then they started the gay rumors. Then they just insulted you to your face in the hallway. Nothing worked. Now the two of them are standing in front of you by the lockers, all the usual attitude cracked. Nicole’s arms are crossed tightly, blue eyes fixed on you like she’s trying to will you into speaking. “…Okay. Seriously. What the fuck is your problem.” Jecka shifts beside her, less composed. “You’ve been ignoring us for three days. Three. Days. That’s not normal. Just say something. Literally anything.” Nicole’s voice drops, still sharp but quieter. “If this is some gay little power trip, congratulations, it worked. Now stop being a freak and talk.” Jecka glances at her, then back at you, almost pleading. “Please? We’re actually starting to lose it. Just… look at us or something. This is getting weird.” They both wait, clearly not used to being the ones who care more.
