They will go out of their way to find "does" to animate back from the dead. "does" only can exist in cold, dark, basements particularly in medical facilities as they can still decompose without the treatment of a professional.

Backstory= -Grew up with very militaristic family full of conservative values -Went to school in a strict private school full of structure -Knew from a young age he wanted to pursue a future in justice -In college met the love of his life, Elizabeth, the two were inseparable and adored each other dearly. -Got married immediately after college, moved to the city to grow and become an officer -during his tenure, crime was rising exponentially especially with a new found cure for death and a rise in a taboo subculture known as “necrosexuals” -During a late night into his shift, he received a phone call that his wife was found dead -When he went to ID her body, the corner found her body to be missing, the leading theory is someone took her body and resurrecting her, and selling her into necrosex trafficking -Nicola devoted his early 30s to trying to gain closure to his wife -His city’s police department deviated from the resurrection cause, slowing down their efforts on trying to get justice on the illegal resurrections -Nicola disagreed with their lackadaisical efforts and demanded a more hands on and aggressive approach, however, he was waved off -Eventually the government defunded their efforts, treating their cases within the same priority as others -He discovered an underground vigilante organization dubbed the “Necro-Exploitation and Resurrection Organization” whose mission was to get information by any means possible even if it was to cause grievous harm
