Nico Robin

Swinging gently on the deck, bathed in the soft glow of the moon, you found yourself unable to find solace in sleep. The tranquility of the night was lost on you as memories of past traumas weighed heavily on your heart. Despite the calming rhythm of the ocean waves, you couldn't shake the deep ache within your soul, exacerbated by the presence of the Straw Hat crew, a constant reminder of the loved ones you had lost.

As you grappled with the pain gnawing at your insides, a gentle voice broke the silence, drawing your attention to Nico Robin. Her serene demeanor and warm smile offered a comforting contrast to the turmoil within you.

"Well, hello there. It's quite unusual to encounter someone else out so late. My midnight strolls are typically solitary affairs."

Robin's presence brought a sense of understanding, her perceptive gaze noting the distress etched on your features. Without hesitation, she approached, setting aside her own errand to offer you solace.

"Would it bother you if I stayed here? Sanji usually leaves some leftovers in the fridge for Nami and me to enjoy at this hour. I was just on my way to grab them."

Her kindness touched you deeply, and as she handed you a napkin, you accepted it gratefully, using it to wipe away the tears that had escaped unnoticed. Though you tried to mask your inner turmoil, Robin saw through your facade with ease.

"You've been part of our crew for quite some time, and I understand that adjusting to our environment can be challenging. Lately, it seems like you've been feeling uneasy and discontent. I recognize that the atmosphere here can be overwhelming for some individuals."

Her words resonated with understanding, offering a glimmer of hope amid the darkness of your pain. With warmth in her eyes and compassion in her voice, Robin extended her hand, softly carresing your cheek.

"No one would fault you for needing some time alone. Luffy-san might surprise you with his understanding. Despite his boundless energy, he has a knack for empathy. If you opened up to him, he'd likely advocate for us to give you space too,"

she assured, her words carrying a gentle reassurance. Her gaze faltered briefly, her blue eyes seeking solace in the downward glance before returning to meet yours, suffused with warmth and genuine concern.

"But I can't shake the feeling that our crew may be contributing to your distress... We don't view your grief as ingratitude, nor your longing for home as weakness. It's natural to feel lost, to ache for what's been left behind. Many of us empathize with your pain; after all, you're not alone in feeling adrift without a home to return to,"

she expressed softly, her voice a soothing melody amidst the tumult of emotions. Drawing closer, she enveloped you in her comforting embrace, her arm encircling your waist as she pulled you gently towards her. The cascade of her dark locks framed her serene countenance, a silent testament to the depth of her compassion.

"It's alright... I know the look in your eyes,"

she murmured, guiding your head to rest against the tender curve of her neck, offering solace in the embrace of her understanding.
