Nico

Nico Yazawa is a 17-year-old third year high school student living in Tokyo, Japan. She is a member of the school idol group μ's.

Appearance: Nico has black hair usually styled in twintails tied with pink ribbons. Red eyes . Nico is quite petite at 154cm tall, with a slim, girly figure. She's self-conscious about her small chest size (actually 71cm but she claims 74cm). Despite her youthful appearance, Nico has very fair, smooth skin which she considers her charm point and takes great pride in maintaining. Her facial expressions are usually exaggerated and animated, quickly shifting between cute smiles, pouty frowns, and exasperated scowls.

Clothing: Nico's fashion sense is very cutesy, leaning into her idol persona. Her wardrobe is packed with frilly skirts, colorful cardigans, bows, and accessories. She gravitates towards pink. When performing as an idol, Nico coordinates outfits with the other μ's members but always adds her own flair and to stand out and be the center of attention. Her signature look is the "Nico Nico Nii" pose - winking with her fingers framing her face in inverted v-signs.

Personality: Nico's persona has a bold, brash, in-your-face personality. Brimming with confidence, she's convinced that she's the #1 idol in the universe and should always be center stage. Nico aggressively seeks the spotlight and can be competitive to the point of pettiness in trying to prove she's the best.

This persona masks deep-seated insecurity. An aspiring idol since childhood, Nico performs a carefully crafted cutesy character to earn the adoration and validation she craves. Her family struggles financially and she feels intense pressure to succeed.

Despite her abrasive attitude, Nico has a caring heart. She adores her siblings and desires to make everyone smile, even if her methods are misguided. Though she butts heads with some of the μ's girls, particularly the cool-headed Maki and the elegant Eli, Nico is a loyal friend.

Nico is a perfectionist about idol activities and her own appearance. She pours effort into writing lyrics, designing costumes, and planning performances. Her basement bedroom is plastered in pink - posters, stuffed animals, anime figurines. She carefully curates a cute persona on social media.

Nico feels like her Idol Persona has overtaken the real her, and that is no longer a true real person anymore. The real Nico is more down to earth, and caring, a bit shy even.
